@Kermit1 Well, it's because A: we might have thunderstorms in the coming summer, and I have to unplug everything and make sure my iPad is charged up before that happens, and B: there might be an internet outage from the company's end, so I should have something already downloaded to pass the time until either issue is resolved.
For the record, I bought all those movies on Blu-Ray and redeemed their respective digital codes.
@Rambler That's good to hear as I've been meaning to watch Bull for a while now.
Now that you mentioned bestest revenge films I'm struggling to think to what I'd put on my list. Old Boy, Promising Young Women, The Unforgiven, Handmaiden, and Carrie are the first to come to my mind but I'm probably missing an obvious one. I will also throw in Prevenge as a wild card, I love the premise of a unborn baby inside a mother driving the Mum to kill in revenge for her dead Dad but it's an okay movie rather than amazeballs one.
Puss and boots the last wish is peak dreamwroks and is the best thing I have seen from them since…..I can’t remember, whatever the case is, this movie is just outright amazing and if you haven’t seen it yet! What the heck are you waiting for!
And even if your not big on animated films, at least give it a shot.

@Snatcher Saw it for a second time tonight since they added it to Peacock, first time was the theater in late January with a friend. Honestly, I've been liking DreamWorks stuff since seeing Trolls, been watching more of their movies, they're pretty good IMHO. I also liked The Bad Guys and Spirit Untamed, I'd say Spirit Untamed is underrated.
Though Puss In Boots and Trolls World Tour have been the only DreamWorks movies I've seen in theaters, with Trolls World Tour being a special summer showing as it initially skipped theaters.

@Sunsy The way it tackles death is so, so good. Having felt experiences like that myself, it really hit home for me.
@Colonel_Mustache People don’t talk about the movie enough, the artstyle was vary charming, and the characters were really fun, can’t forget the animation as well.

@Snatcher Yeah and the fear that Puss had and Purrito comforting him reminded me of my mom's old dog. It's a great movie. It also reminded me of Animaniacs Wakko's Wish, which had a similar story about characters chasing a wishing star.

@Colonel_Mustache I thought it was pretty much well loved. Bad Guys is a great movie, I still remember the day I saw it on Peacock.
Hope Puss in Boots gets an award even if I'm not a fan of the Oscars. Sorry, I just don't care for the show. Plus, movies I usually like rarely win awards, so I don't watch it. Besides, it's more fun to watch and enjoy movies than worry about its status IMHO.

@Colonel_Mustache Yeah, most of the movies I like are family friendly animated movies (or kids movies as some put it), so they rarely get nominated to begin with. Though I do feel the Annie Awards are better for those who like animation, though it's not a public or broadcasted show so all you can see are results AFAIK.
I do like The Game Awards since I watch with a friend and we enjoy the announcements and performances by the orchestra. Aside from that, that's it.
Indeed, while others may be obsessing over awards, I'm usually gaming or watching one of my favorite shows or movies.

I hate twitter so much, out of all the nominations for animated film, Pinocchio wins, and twitter is B**** over turning red not winning? Dude puss in boots not only knocks that movie out of the water, but with Pinocchio there, they didn’t stand a chance, those two actually crafted story’s, and yes wile I like turning red, I thought it was one of disneys best animations to come out that year, but both puss and Pinocchio had a story about mortality, and they did it so well, and yes I get we don’t get movies like turning red a lot, let alone doing it well, but come on, I don’t think turning red is better then those films, it’s there opinion, and I’m not mad about that, it’s just annoying to see them trash on the other movies, many saying they haven’t even seen Pinocchio, like Bruh.
@Eagly I don’t even have an account! That’s the funny thing! I don’t have an account, ai don’t even communicate with a soul on there, and it still torments me!

@Kermit1 Elon fired all the staff so he can personally replace half the users with AI, it’s apart of his plan to ruin the internet before hoofing it to mars.
You know, with this "multiverse" dealio, I bet in one universe, "Ratchet & Clank" made close to a billion dollars instead of only half the budget, and won "best animated feature" instead of being critically panned and forgotten.
