I saw black Adam today and it was alright. Not the best movie out there, but it was enjoyable. Although I don’t like how they are trying to make black Adam into an anti hero. Kinda wish a certain character wasn’t killed though.

Yeah that was pretty cool. I hope they make Superman more of a bright, cheerful( for lack of a better word) instead of continuing the path he was originally on in the DCEU. Not every character needs to be Batman.

Yeah it wouldn’t make much sense to bring the arrow verse one over, But they are bringing Michael Keaton Batman in so who knows. I think that if anybody from the arrow verse comes in it will be the flash. Due to Ezra millers legal troubles. But like you said, it would be cool to see Stephen Amell reprise the roll of Oliver queen.
There are decades and decades worth of stories in DC Comics like The Hard Travelling Heroes where Green Arrow gives Green Lantern an earful for not caring about the poor people as it's not spacey wacey enough for him to deal with, Venom where Batman becomes a drug addict with roid rage in an attempt to be more than just a fallible puny human or The Hiketeia where Wonder Woman is given a no win situation of betraying justice which holds no easy answers etc all sounds a lot more interesting to see in a big budget movie than a movie which will spend it's time pointing at a lot of characters from rubbish show and movie adaptations.
Black Panther: Wakanda Forever
Wakanda Forever is a special film. It's barely a Marvel movie at all, in that it's not formulaic, mathematically paced, and bombastic. The main difference between Wakanda Forever and most of the preceding MCU entries is that this one has scenes. The film breathes, though arrhythmically, establishing a traumatic tone. Characters dialogue, for minutes at a time, about their dreams. They monologue about their fears. They contemplate, share, and change. And the villain is an actual character, with presence, drive, and depth. Indeed, the ensemble cast is excellent throughout, and the actors give texture to every role.
I got Attack of the Clones vibes from the trailer.
How y'all feeling about a prequels debate! I'll start. Episode II is the most underrated Star Wars film.
(or just ignore me)
I was just stalking your profile, reading your Movie posts and saw this.
Oh boy, the first time I watched Attack of the Clones I had such a rush afterwards, was so excited. I do really like that film, there's so much good stuff in there, just a few things, over time, bring it down a bit.
Probably my least favourite thing about it are the sets and CGI reliance. So many scenes have bland unnatural backgrounds, and the Geonosis arena battle is quite rough looking, just cos everything's the same colour in the background, and all the extra Jedi look really naff.
But yeah, story wise it's great, and I love the tragic tone of it towards the end. 'Across the Stars' is yet another John Williams classic.
Always wish they'd made a bit more of the Sifo-Dyas storyline, cos that seemed like a goldmine, but it never really got revived in Revenge of the Sith.
You guys had me at blood and semen.
What better way to celebrate than firing something out of the pipe?
@Kermit1 hey, I read your post about your struggles. I've struggled with very much the same. I think I can help you out with game design and procrastination. Write me on discord at Gryffin#1575
