@EaglyTheKawaiiShika Yeah the first Rio was really good, and Rio 2 I didn't like but I doubt Avatar 2 is much better.

watched Scanners III on Tubi earlier today. Still a good sequel. last time i watched it was on Cinemax back in the early 1990s.

Tonight Im watching Halloween Ends along with Naked Gun 1

Just got back from Puss in Boots: The Last Wish. That was easily the best movie I’ve seen this year, bar none. Everything about it was practically perfect, and I have no issues aside from some of the humor not quite landing for me.

The story was fantastic, the animation was beautiful, and the villains were so good. I won’t spoil any of my other thoughts as I don’t want to ruin anything, however I have a major spoiler that I need to talk about. DO NOT CLICK IF YOU HAVEN’T WATCHED THIS YET:

Street Fighter II: the Animated Movie (Blu-Ray)

Solid adaptation of the game series.

Narrative isn't particularly engaging but does an admirable job setting up a reason for the central characters to be in conflict, and it does a great job making sure every playable character shows up at least once (usually making sure they're involved in a fight at that). I want to particularly point out the E. Honda/Dahlsim bout that briefly takes on a "side view" emulating the viewpoint of playing the game, and the Chun-Li/Vega encounter which has a genuinely tense buildup (and the shower scene is certainly a plus), and then is absolutely the most intense, exhilarating fight in the entire film. I will say that for some reason I kinda start to lose a bit of interest by the time the final confrontation with Bison rolls around, but ultimately I'd say it still sticks the landing.

@EaglyTheKawaiiShika I was not expecting anything to beat The Batman for me, but this movie ran circles around it. It is one of the best movies Dreamworks has ever done in my opinion.

I saw Avatar 2... Cowboys Indians and Indians 2 was fun I can't wait for Cowboys Indians, Indians and Indians 3.

@Kermit1 So glad they made a sequel to to Cowboys and Indians.

@HotGoomba I loved John Wayne switching sides to fight with the Indians.

@EaglyTheKawaiiShika I completely agree with your point about not relying on Shrek nostalgia. That was definitely one thing I was worried about going into it. But it hardly references the previous films at all, which I think it’s great. It was perfect to just flesh out the characters of that specific movie.

@EaglyTheKawaiiShika I can't wait for Shrek to go into the Shrek multi-verse and see the other Shreks like Chris Farley Shrek and Chris Rock Shrek then save the Shek-Verse from an evil Shrek voiced by famous person.

@EaglyTheKawaiiShika I can’t wait for it to come to streaming so I can see this movie! I have heard so many good things about it, and this made me even more excited.

@EaglyTheKawaiiShika Your making me really hyped for this movie, if people already thought the first one was just ok, and they call this one amazing, my god I can’t wait! I loved the first one. Never seen strange world, was it that bad? Lol.

I'm now legit excited for that Community movie now.

I kinda like Community more than The Office though that could still change.
