@Eagly It's not about menstruation though either literally of by theme, there's a one boringly mild joke about it but that's it. The mood swings and stressy emotions which makes her become a panda in the movie is an allegory for the mood swings and stressy emotions experienced by teenagers due to their hormonal changes which happens with both boys and girls.

I personally I think Disney missed a trick by not making it about periods, I wanted to see the lifts in The Shining level of blood in it!

The use of the Elton John song in this slaps. Sign me up, I liked this.

@Eagly How did you like the trailer

@Kermit1 I know someone who worked on the new Ant-Man, they said the worse thing about it was pre-covid the craft food table was amazing but post covid they took the table away and everything was pre-packaged food. Hollywood have it so rough!

Ant man trailer looks really good. But I am not sure how I feel about Kang. But maybe more screen time will help that. In any case, it is nice to be exited for a marvel movie again. The last few jus haven’t done it for me.

Currently playing: Pokemon Soul Silver, Mario RPG

@Rambler typical actors, the lift saw how much Jack Nicholson was grinning in the film so they felt like they had to compete for screen time which is why the lift so overacted in that smiley manner in that scene.

Checked out Terrifier 2 today. I think I liked the first one more, but I'll need to rewatch it. This one was way too long and weirdly underdeveloped. But the gore was truly incredible. Lauren Lavera jiggling about in that Halloween costume gives me life. Art the Clown is a treasure.

I've stopped keeping up with the MCU but I might watch this one, I liked the first two and the quantum realm stuff looks cool. Are we supposed to know who that guy at the end of trailer is?

Thank you Nintendo for giving us Donkey Kong Jr Math on Nintendo Music

@Dogorilla that is Kang, the new Thanos. He has popped up in Loki already and the next Avengers film is called Avengers The Kang Dynasty.

I got Attack of the Clones vibes from the trailer.

I gave Kimi a watch, I was not gonna give it a try as it looked like another mid-production thriller which gets dumped onto streaming sites but then I noticed Steven Soderbergh made it. It’s a housebound thriller with Zoey Kravitz which kinda feels dated already despite coming out this year. So much of it plays to big tech fears and agoraphobia that it would have been raved about if it came out a year or two earlier.

The score was really cool though, it had this vibrancy that I really liked with it weirdly feeling like a classic and modern score at the same time.

The Book of Life on Disney+ tonight. Keep in mind originally not a Disney movie as 20th Century Fox released this before the Disney buyout. Gotta say, I loved this movie. The love story between Manolo and Maria, the twists that I did not see coming, the awesome final battle sequence. I really had a good time with this one. Also, had a unique art-style, which I also like.

The resident Trolls superfan! Saw Trolls Band Together via early access and absolutely loved it!

Ah right, this won't be as standalone as the previous Ant Man films then. Hopefully it will be understandable without having seen Loki though.

How y'all feeling about a prequels debate! I'll start. Episode II is the most underrated Star Wars film.

Dying to see this! The only movie that I'm actually looking forward to because it's so vastly different than what's coming out with it's grimey grindhouse B-movie aesthetic & seems like a power house in practical effects. Plus, Art desserves legenadary horror icon status, stat! I've seen the first Terrifier a few times now. One thing I've noticed with T2, is that Art's makeup or facial build doesn't look quite as freaky or emaciated like in the first one. Maybe it's just me.

Good spot! I rewatched the first one today, and while I like them both, I still think the first one is better. Art's subtle design change speaks for a wider tone change between the two films. The original is a far purer of a horror experience, much of its grime and sleaze is somewhat lost in the sequel, which leans more into the cartoonish and silly.
