@Rambler yeah that is true but it was less aimed at you and more at people who view only experiencing the biggest and bestest game/movie/shows worthwhile rather than taking it for an experience on its own. I’ve seen a few comments over the years of don’t bother with Eastern Promises as A History Of Violence is the same thing even though Eastern Promises is a good film in its own right.

@jump oh god yeah, Cronenberg has his themes, but he hardly ever repeats himself (Videodrome and Existenz maybe...?)

Just thought of something - Viggo gets tattooed up, and in the next scene gets carved up in the fight.
Actually the trafficking makes more sense now - seeing people as property, their bodies are essentially "branded" . Think they missed a gruesome trick there. Also the bit where he stubs out the tab on his tongue.

Here's my Disney animated tier list no one asked for. You will learn a lot about me by looking at this list.

Coco, Bolt, Monster's University and even Soul in F? Monsters Inc, Up, Moana, Wreck It Ralph, and the first three Toy Stories in D? LILO AND STITCH AT C!?

Damn I love/hate controversial lists like this.

I've watched the new Beavis & Butt Head movie. I still rate Beavis & Butt Head as the greatest meta joke ever done of dumb teenagers laughing at dumb teenagers even though that doesn't work for today's yoof as they do reaction videos of reactions already, so I was curious if this was gonna be a nostalgia blast or try to be an update. It's kept at a comfortable level of being familiarity whilst occasionally doing something new to them. There's a few really surprising nice moments like Beavis falling in love on top the same smartdumb jokes from Mike Judge like their understanding of white privilege. Plus The Great Cornholio is in it!!!

It also made me reminiscent for MTV's old animation studio. They use to produce shows with really unique distinctive voices like Daria, Downtown, Aeon Flux, The Maxx etc that were radically different to each other than just another animated sitcom with a different premise.

@XandertheWise Brexit is just something Europeans talk about, don't worry about it.

AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAy there.

@Snatcher Haven't seen Mulan, but I've seen thumbnails from "missing the point" to "terrifying" showing Pinocchio with red eyes, lol. Like it feels exaggerated for views, rather than trying to be honest opinions. The thumbnails makes me glad I don't watch them. I get some people are burnt out of Disney live action movies, but there's also plenty of other things to watch too that Disney doesn't make.

@Pikki I agree with this, it's just feels like easy views going with the popular opinion. Can't count how many times this happens with Sonic games, I predict the ending and outcome before the video ends. It's like watching different people parrot the same opinions, rather than giving different takes.

The resident Trolls superfan! Saw Trolls Band Together via early access and absolutely loved it!

@Kermit1
I explained it in the Chit-Chat Thread just now but I'll post it here as well because I'm in this thread a lot and some might not read the Chit-Chat one.

Yes, it's Mioaionios here with a brand new profile.
Now, I know the community rules mentions it's forbidden to create duplicate accounts to trick or harass other users. Of course that's not my intend and that's why I'm being open about it. I just wanted to start with a clean slate.

Hope you all understand.

Lupin the 3rd: Fujiko's Lie (Blu-Ray) - 3rd film in the "Koike" trilogy of Lupin films. Like the two before it, I thought it was thoroughly entertaining. Seemed to suggest a narrative connection to the last two as well, so hopefully the line continues to finish the story.

Trailer:

The Forgotten Battle (Netflix) - Dutch WWII film that centers around the battle for control of a port town near the end of the war, from three different interconnecting perspectives (a town girl who gets caught up in the resistance, a young Dutch guy who joined the Reich in the hopes of escaping his family's poverty, and a British airborne trooper who gets shot down behind enemy lines). It can be a bit brutal, but it's a good watch, showing just how harrowing the experience of war can be for all involved.

Brexit is like Dexit but only with countries instead of Pokemon and is far more impactful in the real world.

@XandertheWise your first line on that quote was you saying you don’t know what Brexit is and I was explaining what a Brexit is using the great Pokémon controversy of dexit.

@RR529 The Forgotten Battle kinda sounds like a more brutal Dunkirk.
