@Sunsy
This is an unpopular opinion but I don't like the first Thor movie, I think it's the worst of the bunch really.
A big reason for that is the awful cinematography. Over 80% of the shots are dutch angles. It looks horrible and I don't care for it one bit.
Not much of an unpopular opinion, but I also despise the first Thor. BUT not as much as the sequel Dark World. Ragnarok was amazing, and Love and Thunder was good. Not great, not bad, but good.
@SunsyA Dutch angle (known as a Dutch tilt, canted angle, or oblique angle) is a type of camera shot that has a noticeable tilt on the camera's “x-axis.”
I hate dutch angles 90% of the time, ESPECIALLY when they have no reason to even be there. If an environment is tilted, or someone's perspective is being messed with, ok, but those never happen.
Mom wanted to watch the original Star Wars, so watched A New Hope tonight. That makes two movies today.
@HotGoomba Two different opinions on the two other Thor movies, think I might be in for an interesting ride then. I plan to do the sequel tomorrow and Ragnarok on Tuesday.
Since unpopular opinions are being mentioned, I'm gonna say it, I liked UglyDolls and really don't think it's that bad. It reminded me of a mix of Trolls and Toy Story, and it hit home a bit as someone who finds comfort with plushies.
Trolls and Toy Story are better, but I enjoyed my time with this one when I first saw it months ago. IMHO, UglyDolls is underrated.
The resident Trolls superfan! Saw Trolls Band Together via early access and absolutely loved it!
@Sunsy I don't actually mind Uglydolls much, however I do have to mention an Uglydolls superfan that put a bad taste in my mouth.
Outside of Nintendo Life, I'm actually an administrator in a wiki, going by a different name, and I do remember that about a week after I was promoted, some person started vandalizing the wiki often (now semi-often) and started harassing me and other admins. It got to the point of death threats, but don't worry, I didn't take them seriously at all, or even care that much. But she was still annoying, and she was also an Uglydolls fan, and obviously not all Uglydolls fans are like this, but I remember joking telling the admin team that I would never watch Uglydolls.
Just thought it'd be interesting to tell everyone on the forums.
@HotGoomba Yeah, I just didn't find the movie as terrible as most on the Internet did. Then again, I really don't watch movie YouTubers, but I would sometimes see someone's review get recommended and see the words "terrible." Actually, I own a copy of it on Blu-Ray/DVD now.
I can imagine that being annoying. I consider myself a Trolls superfan as I love the series and know a lot about the series and its characters, but I can respect that it's not a movie series for everyone, and not everyone will like it. Everyone's got different tastes. I'm assuming this person was mad over the negative reputation the UglyDolls movie has? Just a guess I'm having. Sorry you had to put up with that, still what a story.

Just finished Thor: The Dark World. HotGoomba is going to disagree with me, but I liked this more than the first. It was paced better than the first movie, didn't feel slow to me. Loki appearing in the very end caught me off guard, I didn't see that coming. I dug how this was a reverse, where Jane is in Thor's world, while the first movie mostly took place on earth.
All that's left is Ragnarok, which I'll watch tomorrow. Hot weather has me doing chores very early, so I should be done so I can stay cool in my room and watch it. Then Love and Thunder on Thursday with friend.
@Sunsy That's fine if you think the second is better than the first, both are mostly interchangeable to me. I don't like either one, but I liked the first one a little but more.
I'll probably change my mind if I rewatch them both though, like that'll ever happen lol.
I'm glad you...enjoyed it? Yeah, I think you enjoyed it. Hope you enjoy Ragnarok as much as I did.
@seaboyluca Yeah, the pacing was much better in the second. It felt like there was more action to it. Also, it had me at the space ships too, I always enjoy seeing that sort of stuff.
@HotGoomba Alrighty. Yeah I did. Thanks I hope so too. Actually, I may watch Ragnarok with my friend I'm going to see Love and Thunder with tomorrow. It's kind of cool, it caught my interest because of the Guardians of the Galaxy being in it, now I'm going through the movies since the past couple of days have been slow.
Last night I watched Beyond the Infinite Two Minutes, which is a Japanese comedy film about a man who discovers his computer monitor lets him see two minutes into the future. The whole thing takes place in real time with no apparent cuts, which admittedly does result in a few slightly drawn-out scenes early on, but for the most part it's very clever and entertaining, and at only just over an hour it doesn't outstay its welcome. In the UK you can watch it for free on All 4 at the moment (it doesn't even have ad breaks, or at least it didn't for me).
Come on Nintendo, give us Donkey Kong Jr Math on Switch Online
Saw bad guys the other day, and I got to say, it was actually a good animated film, of course the art style, but the film itself was Enjoyable, sure it had its weak moments, but other then that, ai give it a solid 8/10
Nintendo are like woman, You love them for whats on the inside, not the outside…you know what I mean! Luzlane best girl!

Seems like Nope, Jordan Peele's latest sci-fi horror movie, is getting a lot of good buzz after its first showings. It's one of my most anticipated movies of the year and I can't wait to see it myself.
Unfortunately, the movie doesn't open until 10th August in my country. Hope I don't get spoiled.
@Snatcher
I enjoyed The Bad Guys as well.
Like you said, it has its weaker moments, but overall it's an enjoyable movie.
@Snatcher Surprised I haven't watched it yet, especially since I enjoy DreamWorks as much as I enjoy Pixar. I'll probably watch it after Puss in Boots 2 releases.
