I seem to like it more than others as well. Tony's relationship with the kid was both funny and sweet.
Also, Tony having to rely on his smarts instead of his suit for most of the film was a breath of fresh air.
Speaking of Disney films in theatres, the Lion King was apparently the first movie my parents ever took me to, though I was so young I don't remember the trip AT ALL.
I remember seeing The Little Mermaid in a theatre (though I think it was a local theatre showing somewhat older films, as it originally released a couple years before I was born), and I'm fairly confident we seen Lilo & Stitch when it was new as well.
Currently Playing:
Switch - Blade Strangers
PS4 - Kingdom Hearts III, Tetris Effect (VR)

The Lion King was the first film I went to see with my stepdad. I was 10 and went to the movie theaters a couple times before that, but this movie being the first one I saw with him will always be a cherished memory.
I don't recall which movie was the first I saw in theaters though. I want to say Asterix and the Big Fight because my real dad loved the Asterix comics, God rest his soul, but I'm not sure.
Since Disney movies have been mentioned, actually got Blu-Ray/DVD copies of Turning Red and Encanto in the mail today. So some new movies for my animated movie library.
@MarioLover92 Yeah, Star Wars games are always fun. Rebel Assault II, Battlefront Classic, Dark Forces, and Star Wars Episode I Racer are some I really liked.
Yup, that's how I saw most of the classics back then. Over the years, I've been getting the classic Disney stuff on DVD and Blu-Ray. Yeah, if an animated movie I want to see comes to theaters, I love to go. Just for the experience of the screen and sound. Also, it's a fun way to watch your favorite characters. Seeing Anna, Sonic, Tails, and Poppy on the big screen is just something I love.
If only Turning Red and Luca got the big screen treatment, I would have loved to experience them that way.

Tell me about it.
I was so saddened they didn't get a theatrical release and there were reports that some people who worked on these movies at Pixar were heartbroken because their creation wasn't shown the way it was intended.
@seaboyluca Lightyear wasn't even the first Pixar movie I disliked.
I didn't like Cars 2 (duh), Tangled BRAVE, or The Good Dinosaur. I even think Finding Dory is a bit overrated (still like it, just not as much as the original).
@HotGoomba
Tangled was made by Disney animation, not Pixar.
You've got to be the first person I came across who doesn't like that movie. Are you sure you're not thinking about Brave?
@seaboyluca Yeah, I remember reading about that too. I still remember how mad some were that Turning Red wasn't going to theaters too. I hope it doesn't happen again, those two I would have loved to see on the big screen.
@HotGoomba I love Pixar movies, and honestly, I had no interest in Lightyear. I get it's suppose to be the movie Andy saw as a kid that got him into Buzz Lightyear, but it just feels too different than Toy Story IMO. Maybe I'll wait for it to show up on Disney+. Honestly, I ended up looking forward to the summer showing of Trolls World Tour more since it originally did skip theaters.
@HotGoomba@Rambler@seaboyluca Call it an unpopular opinion, I liked Cars 2. Saw that and the third in theaters. I like it was a break from the Pixar "I'm gonna make you cry" thing they do, lol. Also I feel The Good Dinosaur was underrated, with Inside Out taking the spotlight. It's been a long time since I've watched The Good Dinosaur though.
Also, I loved Tangled. Rapunzel is actually one of my favorite Disney princesses next to Belle, Ariel, and Anna.
The resident Trolls superfan! Saw Trolls Band Together via early access and absolutely loved it!
Anyone else thinks that this year of movie releases is pretty bare bones? Almost nothing really original and really few big releases to look forward to in the next few months. Like what movies did you all love this year and what are you looking forward to the most?

I'm surprised to see so much The Good Dinosaur love. It's such a boring movie to me, I don't think any of the dinosaurs are interesting or likable, and it just feels like a showcase of how good Pixar animation and graphics are, which, I will admit, the movie is absolutely beautiful, but you need more than that for a good film.
Take for example Spider-Verse, one of the best animated movies of all time. It has great writing, an interesting story, very enjoyable characters, a really good villain, some nice.plot twists, and great humor, and those are all accompanied by the excellent animation.
