I'm sorry everyone who whined in the Minecraft Lightyear comment section, but I thought the movie was ok. NOT A MASTERPIECE, NOT AMAZING, but ok.

I'm surprised how competent this movie was, and I actually really liked Socks, even if that robotic cat was just a marketing tool.

But God was the messages in the movie shoved in your face. Not the LGBTQ+ messages, but the actual lessons of the movie, those were so bad.

The plot twist was ok, wasn't expecting it, but I mean, (MAJOR spoiler ahead, click at your own risk)
Zorg should've been his dad, that's would've been funnier.

Is this movie Cars 2 and The Good Dinosaur levels of bad? No. Is this movie Turning Red (great movie btw) or Wall-E levels of great? Hell no.

But this movie wasn't bad, I'd even say it was decent. It reminds me of Brave and Toy Story 4. The highs are really high, but the lows are really low. I haven't seen Soul or Onward yet, but Soul seems to be really good, and Onward seems to be kinda like Lightyear.

And the visuals of Lightyear are absolutely beautiful, like as someone who loves animation, it was amazing. Then again, I hope Pixar keeps doing more stylized movies like Turning Red.

Lightyear gets a 6/10 from me, not bad, but definitely pales compared to Toy Story 1-3 and all those other Pixar movies we won't shut up about.

watched The Howling V on Tubi last night. Not bad for an old sequel at least its better than Howling IV a little bit

I just found about this whole 'Spider Man: Lotus' situation and I haven't been able to stop laughing for the past 20 minutes, this is funniest thing I've ever witnessed.

@HotGoomba Start the alarms celebrity superstar Chris Pratt will be voicing everything from now on, you name it he'll be doing the voice. From Optimus Prime to Batman no one is safe.

That's the standard in China. There's some type of internet filter there designed to block out porn however when it sees Garfield it blocks his image from the picture/video believing you are watching a dirty vid.

You mean racism and homophobia doesn't make you chuckle?

Also watched X-Men: Days of Future Past over the weekend.

Overall pretty solid, though not as good as First Class (and from what I understand, outside of the spinoffs like Deadpool, it's all downward from here). Nice seeing the old cast too, even if they didn't do much with them.
