I know it's a little off topic (not being a movie & all), but I thought Moon Knight was the weakest D+ MCU series so far.

While it was neat at first, it seemed like they all too often used the "blackouts" as a way to skip out on action, heck, they even used one to skip over showing how he got the upper hand on the big bad.

I have nothing against making Layla a super hero, but with how personal the grudge was with Ammit, I'm kinda disappointed that she got her powers just in time to make it a 2 vs 1 instead of a one on one grudge match (and if they had to include a scene of a bystander geeking out over an Egyptian Superhero, they should have at least made them geek out over the actual titular Egyptian superhero, instead of her). They should have revealed her powers at the end/post credits & focused on her in season 2.

It was visually way too dark in spots (I couldn't see what was going on half the time in the episode in the tomb, for example), and more of a pet peeve, I don't like "invisible" entities (outside of ghosts). I know this was done in spots so he wasn't sure if it was real or if he was going crazy (with the invisible jackal in the museum), but the giant Godzilla sized god fight at the end should have absolutely been seen by everyone.

I think my favorite episode was probably episode 5(?). The one where we went back into his backstory.

I think it was like episode four or five of Moon Knight which expanded more on Steven and Mark, that episode was really great, but everything else about it sucked to me. I would easily rank it as the lowest of the Disney+ shows.

Also talking of a post Endgame world, honestly, I feel like I have been eating pretty well. I really enjoyed the Falcon and Hawkeye Disney+ shows, I thought Shang-Chi was a blast and No Way Home one of the MCU's best. I am also really coming around on Ms. Marvel too, after the latest episode.

I just think it's easy to become jaded because the MCU is so oversaturated at this point, with so many middling TV shows and movies wearing you out between the highspots. I guess they feel they have to keep pumping it out at this pace for the engagement or whatever, but I think it'll hurt them in the end.

Also @Kermit1 no hard feelings on the horror thing, sorry to hear you have had a bad experience with some horror fans! I usually find they are lovely people but I guess I have just been lucky!!

@Pizzamorg some horror fans are 100% lovely like any film fan, my few interactions with for lack of a better word """horror snubs""" have been not so good. Every one is different with what they like to watch and play, it's also a good thing to have friendly disagreements so you don't drown in what I say and like is the best.

I feel superhero'ed out right now.

It's not just horror fanatics.
Every fandom has rotten apples among them, just look at the Star Wars fandom for instance.

Ok this might be a little controversial, but all of Wandavision was great (excluding episode 4) until the last episode, but that last episode was really bad. The only part of it I actually liked was the two visions communicating. Also, the secondary villain SUCKS. He's predictable, uninteresting, and just feels too much like other villains.

I'd give Wandavision a 7.5/10. The highs are really high. The lows are really, really low. But I loved the creativeness of the show, even if it was all thrown out the window in the final episode.

I'll cry about more Marvel shows later.

AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAy there.

Last time I have watched Alladin 2019 movie for 4 times at my local cinema during year 2019.
It was really good Disney live action movie with Will Smith as Genie.
Too bad, he got penalty from Grammy Award for 10 years not allowed to attend Award after he slapped Chris Rock. 😕

Art house fans are the worst in my opinion. God I watched some tripe during my film studies days and everyone would pretend they watched something profound for fear of being isolated.

Wandavision is pretty low on my list too. I still think Moon Knight was worse, but depending on the day you ask me I'd probably rank Wandavision and What If..? Only slightly above it and those two shows are pretty much interchangeable when it comes to a ranking.

Never seen it, but with almost every Disney Live-Action remake being awful, ESPECIALLY The Lion King (I heard Mulan was worse actually), I don't think I'll ever watch the Avatar sequel with Will Smith Aladdin 2019.

@HotGoomba Mulan was absolutely horrendous. I haven't seen Aladdin but I heard it was ok. Lion King is pretty universally hated too I think. I'm talking about the live actions ofc

Cinderella 2015 (Lily James), Beauty & the Beast (Emms Watson) and Aladdin 2019 are pretty good Disney Live action movies in my opinion.
The Lion King was boring for being too similar as the cartoon version.
Mulan 2020 was terrible from what I saw from YouTube.

Not Disney movies but Dora the explorer live action movie was really bad and cringey.
I put a facepalm when Dora started to sing toilet song and digging a hole for poo. 🤦‍♂️

I think the opposite of the problem. They tried so hard to make this movie realistic that they got rid of any character these animals had. Now they're just talking animals like in those bad talking dog movies.

Oh, and the celebrity castings, it's almost like they purposely chose the absolute worst voice actors for these characters. Like what even was Scar's voice!?

If Mulan is worse than this, I'll be absolutely impressed, because The Lion King remake is absolutely terrible, and there's no reason to even watch it anymore, since the far superior animated version is available in more places and is cheaper since it's older. I even really liked the musical. How they screwed up a remake this bad is beyond me.

@HotGoomba
The matchmaker scene from Mulan cartoon version was way hilarious to watch than the live action movie version.
The pandemic in year 2020 was saved me for not watching Mulan 2020.

Oh no, forgot about that one, never watched it, but it just looked mediocre. It actually got better reviews than I expected, but doesn't mean I care 😀

And while we're talking Nickelodeon, the SpongeBob films just got worse with each one.

The first one, one of the best animated films of all time.

Sponge out of Water, it was ok, I do appreciate some smaller things with the movie, and there were things I flat out hated, but overall, it was fine.

Sponge on the Run, one of the most disappointing films I've ever seen. The animation is spectacular, but the writing and clear advertisement for the Kamp Koral series made this just bad. This had SO much potential, but in the end, it actually made me appreciate Sponge out of Water even more than before.

AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAy there.

@HotGoomba
I know, right?
I only watched Dora 2019 movie once and never want to watch again after saw some cringey parts that made me embarrassed to watch.

Oh, btw. How was Sonic 2 movie?
I haven't watched Sonic 2 movie.
I only watched the first movie 2 years ago right before pandemic started to spread in my hometown and it was quite good movie.

I didn't have any interest in the Dora movie until I saw all those positive reviews which made me interested enough to check it out for myself. And you know what? I enjoyed it. Yes, it's cheesy at times, but also very charming and funny. It was a pleasant surprise.

About those Disney live action remakes though... I'm generally speaking not a fan. I liked The Jungle Book because it was so different from the original, but Beauty and the Beast and The Lion King were almost shot for shot remakes that served no purpose.
Aladdin was passable because it did some things different but it was nowhere near as good as the original. Mulan was a travesty, it went completely against the message of the original.

One outlier is the remake of Pete's Dragon. The original wasn't animated aside from the dragon so I can't put it in the same category as the other remakes but I really love this one. I thought it was much better than the original. It was charming, emotional and well acted.
It was directed by David Lowery, who also made The Green Knight, and is now working on the remake of Peter Pan called Peter & Wendy. Because of his earlier work, I'm hopeful for this one.

The same can't be said for the Pinocchio remake by Robert Zemeckis. But that's mostly because I'm not a fan of his recent work. Ever since The Polar Express back in 2004 his directorial efforts have been very underwhelming in my opinion.
