@Zuljaras We know the parents. They’re all friends and each one of them a real work of art. Also, we didn’t remove our daughter from social media. She’s created new accounts where necessary and is just laying low.

As far as the Dr. Strange reference goes, we’re going to be very deliberate with how we proceed…I’m not willing to take chances with my daughter’s happiness/well-being. But I’m glad you found a way to spin a joke out of this. You should be proud!

@maximumbeans I know, right? Don’t know if it’s jealousy, boredom or what. Our daughter is liked by everyone, and treats everyone with respect. It’s strange that they even started this in the first place, but the fact that they won’t let go of this and move on with their own lives is beyond comprehension.

@RabidCanuck What does "real work of art" means? Are they rich snobs or something like that? People with power? If that is the case then yes better to just go away from such people as far as possible.

Also I think that it is ok to at least tell those parents that their spawns are little turds

@RabidCanuck Maybe we're expecting too much to want a logical reason out of foolish kids acting in a pack. In any case this sounds very distressing and I hope you find a resolution to the issue. It must be demoralising for your daughter to feel like a target for these people. I went through a period of anonymous abuse from somebody at my school and it hurts to know someone wants to spend so much time trying to make you feel *****, but I have faith she'll be able to move past it.

Hang on to your youthful enthusiasms - you'll be able to use them better when you're older.

@zuljaras @maximumbeans Thanks both for your support. Sometimes it’s good to just have a sounding board from someone that doesn’t know you from a hole in the wall. I’m confident she’ll get through this, too.

@Zuljaras “work of art” usually simply means they’re nasty

Thanks! Never heard/saw that expression before It is an extremely polite way of saying someone is a "piece of ****"

@Eel thanks from me, too. I missed that remark/question earlier.
