So I made a rough tally of the anime episodes I watched this year, which ended up being over 500. While I've never really counted before, I'm pretty sure that's on-par with what I usually watch. And that was without finishing a single show this year...

Im following Nagi no Asukara, and will buy Hanasaku Iroha on DVD in 2014. Maybe you cold like Aiura? Its extremely short, but its also very fun ^^
And Professor Layton and the eternal diva. Its the best movie ever (At least its my favorite)
Mangagirl (I think that was the name of it) also looks fun, but I have yet to see it,

Hah, I watched some of it late last year, though I don't think I mentioned it. It wasn't very good at all, IIRC. Not sure if it was confusing or not, but it did leave a bad taste in my mouth.

Fake Edit: Oh yeah, that must've been while I was gone back in November.

I just finished watching episode 11 of Outbreak Company. I'm not going to lie; it was kind-of awesome and absolutely brilliant. Sure, I had to sit through 10 other episodes of fluff and I'm not happy with how quickly the issue + solution were presented, but I didn't expect that level of intelligence so late in the series.

So they announced the final 6 manga for the shonen jump competition. Its like a poll so im guessing there letting the people decided the overall winner.
Most of them were pretty terrible. I only liked "El Viento Del Norte" Its like an old western but with a female main character.

^I watched the last episode of the first (second?) season by accident, and it was surprisingly good.

I'm guessing OdAges brought up the manga because supposedly it just had a great twist the other day.

I started watching it because I have a friend who is absolutely nuts about the show, swears it's one of the best series out there.

Actually, I'm on chapter 80 as of right now. I'm reading it because the anime cut a lot of stuff out, and the guy who runs the anime club I go to (which showed nothing but TWGOK for a while) recommended it to me.

Happy Holidays everyone
I just finished watching Blue Exorcist (dub) and while I did not enjoy the second half / end of the anime, overall it was good.
I also finished Humanity has Declined (Jinrui wa Suitai Shimashita) and I HIGHLY recommend it.

Now, can anyone recommend any comedy anime dubbed that I can watch with my younger siblings? (9yr girl and 10yr boy). Something along the lines of Lucky Star, Azumanga Daoih, or Fruits Basket. (Doesn't necessarily have to be Slice of Life).

Yeah, I feel the same about Death Note. Then again, I've only read it and I don't know how different the manga is from the anime.
By the way I really like your avatar... Big Joshua fan here

Akisame & Sakaki defeat their armed opponents, then are greeted by an agent of the Japanese government.

Apparently, Yami has gained control of 7 nuclear missile silos across the globe (info which hasn't been revealed to the public, to avoid panic), and the militaries of the world can't act, otherwise Yami may use them.

With this in mind, the world's leaders have decided that they need to rely on the strength of Ryozanpaku's masters in order to keep the world at peace, and will lend their resources to help Ryozanpaku find out where Yami's HQ is.

I finished watching Kyoukai no Kanata (Beyond the Boundary) earlier today, and it is now one of my favorites. I really like the personalities of all the characters, especially Akihito, who is the most rational thinker of the group, and his glasses fetish also made me laugh throughout the entire series. As for Mirai, I really liked how She felt loved and accepted as a person because of how normally Akihito treated her, considering how her lineage made her despised by everyone else in the spirit warrior society. Her resolve to protect Akihito at all costs was also very admirable and heartwarming . The series managed to strike an excellent balance between action, comedy, and romance, and the plot, characters, and animation were great.

To anyone who decides to pass this series up, I can only say "You're being unpleasant."

This might be a bit too young for those kids, but Hamtaro comes to mind. Otherwise the comedies us Americans get exposed to are usually more for Teenagers. Sgt. Frog can occasionally be inappropriate in the dubbed version, but subbed that was more kiddified compared to the manga.

Hey, that's not fair. Some people can't stand the sight and thought of blood.

Been watching Samurai 7, pretty good, finished episode 7 I think. The one where they met the blond shop owner had some hideous art in it, not sure why it got terrible all of a sudden. I've also been watching Ouran High School Host Club, pretty good, the shows got some good humor. (If you remember my previous "I'm not watching this post", the girl I like convinced me to watch it (I'm actually watching it with her), and my expectations are also in line this time. (I had no idea what the show was when I first watched it.)
