so, I finished Katekyo Hitman Reborn!(the manga):
the end is kinda disappointing it's that generic "it started all over" end that keeps space for a sequel that may never happen
and now I got into Eyeshield 21(anime) so far it's my second favorite Sport Anime(being my favorite the Prince of Tennis)

@TheKingOfTown Phantom Lord as in the Reaper guy and the giant tree spirit thing? I just got past that arc if that's what you were referring to.
No...he was referring to the arc that started at episode 20...did you not start at the begining or something? Because unless you've been watching 20 episodes a day, I find it hard to believe you just started watching and are already in the 100's...

Oh, no then. I haven't even gotten past episode 10 yet. I definitely would have been past that by now, but I have to be careful when I watch anime. Considering how my parents don't like anime and how many fanservice moments there are in anime in general...yeah I don't get to watch the genre very much...

@GuSilverFlame You've seen Reborn, right? Is there a point to all this ramdom comedy filler in episodes 10-19? Or can I start skipping episodes? Because it's really starting to tick me off. I'm on episode 13 now, and it feels like I'm making no progress whatsoever. It's still mildly entertaining, but I hate sitcom formats, and that;'s basically what this has been lately - a bunch of silly situations with no consequences or development. Especially these last 3 episodes. Maybe the training episode was important so we know that the baseball dude has a sword, but I don't think I would've been that surprised anyways.
Like, this is probably some of the worst handled beginning episodes to a shounen show I've seen - they're doing a lot of character introduction all at once that should've been spread out more, and a lot of power introduction that may as well not be there since they're not doing much to explain them anyways, they're just showing them off what could've been summized in two episodes at a rediculously slow pace. I just really want to skip to the end of this arc, it's killing me that I'm so close yet so far from being out of this slog and into the good parts.

Well...I guess my top two Eva (1995) and One Piece (1999-now) are both from the 90's...oh and Trigun...

...anybody not recommend Samurai Champloo would be the better question. It was a pretty popular show back when it was running on Adult Swim, and it's still fondly remembered to this day, thanks to its likeable characters and great sense of style and music (fuedal Japan mixed with hip-hop worked surprisingly well). It's also up there with Cowboy Bebop as one of the few episodic shows I found compelling, simply because it did a lot to make every episode interesting and meaningful.
@CanisWolfred they're not really important, just a way to introduce characters but later in the anime(after the good shonen action part starts) there will be one(or more than one, it's been a while I took a long time to finish Reborn) of those comedy filler episodes with a red(orange-ish) haired boy that episode will be important for the plot

Just finished up the newest chapter of History's Strongest Disciple Kenichi!
Yami put their plan to kidnap Kenichi & Miu into action, but unfortunately for them, the two disciples ended up being too much trouble for the hired gunmen they sent, especially once their masters intervened!
Also, the gang over at the Shinpaku Alliance have gotten a state of the art computer system, which will allow them a better opprotunity to spy on Yami.
Looks like there'll be a hiatus next week, though. I'll live though, as that doesn't sound nearly as bad as that 5 week hiatus Bleach had last summer.
