I watched Tenchi Muyo! The Daughter of Darkness on YouTube tonight!
The video quality was kinda poor on this one, but It definitely wasn't unwatchable, and was easy enough to get over in order to see some Tenchi I've never seen before.
It got a little strange in parts, but it was still mostly good 'ol Tenchi Muyo! action.
It probably qualifies as the oddest "Christmas special" I've ever seen, though (still better than GXP...).

still reading Gamaran... now there's a stupid "genius" perv to spoil the manga with really inapropriate talks(but he does get beaten up for being nasty) other than that it only gets better... and I've watched ep 8 of Kitakubu Katsudou Kiroku (Chronicles of the Going Home Club) it's really funny!
goodbyes are a sad part of life but for every end there's a new beggining so one must never stop looking forward to the next dawn

You know, I was tempted to watch Danganronpa after seeing the crazy character designs, but I think I'll just get the game instead. It sounds a lot like Ace Attourney.
I've finished up through chapter 200 of History's Strongest Disciple Kenichi!
Since my last update, the confrontation with Yomi has gone underway, much to the disappointment of Kenichi, who hasn't been doing so well against these opponents who are openly ready to kill & die (surviving mostly on luck & friends' help).
He quickly has to find the courage to stand up to these foes though, as he's just been invited to a martial arts tournament hosted by Yomi. Luckily, he's not alone though, as his uninvited friends (who've been spread out, completing their own training) have crashed the event, demanding to compete (complete with a totally random & awesome Ghost in the Shell reference)!

I also intend to try Yozakura Quartet, Galilei Donna, Tokyo Ravens, and Samurai Flamenco, since they sound fun, but don't really have good trailers yet.
I also intend to try out the first episodes of Outbreak Company, Nagi no Asakura, Log Horizon, and Bushiroad, though I don't expect much from them.
And the new Gundam series is basically a 50+ episode long commercial for the Gundam Breaker video games, featuring Gundam Models that come to life to fight in tournaments, with no story beyond the basic tournament formula that was perfected ages ago in Rocky. It's like the sick lovechild between Beyblades and G-Gundam. No way in hell am I watching that.
It already sounded bad based on the fact that they were plastic Gudams used by kids...but it's also just a tie-in? That really sounds awful.
Yeah. They did that with Gundam AGE, too - it's possible it was meant to be a game first, but they decided to make an anime, too. Not surprisingly, it made a much better game than an anime...
Oh well, at least Gundam UC finishes off next year, and we're supposed to get a 0079 remake after that.
