Is there people that is fans of Hetalia here? :3
If not, you guys better try it, it's one of the most amazing fandom I've ever in. And the humor in the story is not bad either.
I wouldn't say I'm a fan, but I did enjoy it. The characters were cute. I found the humour repetitive, and I wish it had actual history, but whatever.
Say what now?

I'm not really active here anymore. So it goes.
Has anyone else seen The Meloncholy of Haruhi Suzumiya? It's fairly entertaining.

@Marks@Retro - Thanks, guys. Despite my ordering, Kaiba's probably the one I'd recommend the most (if only because the other best ones I'd recommend are a bit too long), so I hope you enjoy it, and maybe check out any of the others as well.
but Last Exile just can't keep me interested for too long and I constantly fall off watching it just to pick it back up later
If that's the first Last Exile, I recommend quitting now, before you get to the Mind**** of an ending...
Oh yeah, and I'm glad somebody enjoyed Robotics;Notes. I've heard too many disappointing things about it, though I did think it looked interesting when I saw the trailers. If only because it used to be my dream to build a giant fighting robot, and they're living my dream.
In case anyone cares, FMA Brotherhood seems to be back on Netflix with "new episodes".
I'm going to start the original FMA today, so seeing this is a welcome surprise.
it's kinda surprising hearing Soul Eater's ending already...but then I realized I'm at volume 9 and only 1/4 through it so that makes sense even for a series as relatively popular as it is. Like even Conan has had issues once it got to the 50s volumes so it's probably for the best for the series.
^It's actually an abrupt end from what I hear. Unless the final two chapters are really long...
Anyways, I just finished episode 45 of Hunter X Hunter, and I think this arc so far has convinced me more than ever that this show is amazing! It's not even that there's some big twists or mind-blowing action or anything these past few episodes, it's just the fact that they excecute a completely different feel with every arc. This one is really dark and gritty, which perfectly contrasts with the very happy arc that came previous. It's gruesome, yet very calculated. It really gives you the sense of the kind of monsters that Kurapika (I think I butchered his name...) has basically made his goal to destroy. The Phantom Troupe are also very interesting characters, just barely likeable when they aren't doing horrible things to people. I also kinda feel sad for the characters they introduced only for them to die in a few episodes, if not that episode - They just didn't stand a chance! Oh man, I can't wait to see where things go.
The Phantom Troupe is quite fun. I think awesome evil organizations like them are just required in these type of series and they're almost always highly enjoyable. Also I've read that the whole troupe is like an all star team of japanese voice actors which is cool.
I will say while some people have disagreed with me on this, that is not the best arc. The current one airing is, especially later parts. It gets so good in the manga and I can't wait to see some of it in anime form.

That's comforting to hear, actually. While I'm loving this, I'd rather have something else good to look forward to.
Bleach - First Eureka turns into a butterfly, & now Aizen!? Anyhow, Ichigo & Aizen have finally started their mountain busting final showdown.
Naruto - Looks like they've fell into a trap...
One Piece - Finally, the final showdown between Luffy & Foxy has begun! (and Luffy isn't doing so hot)
Soul Eater - Holy cow, they actually lost!!! Shockingly fantastic episode! (Medusa's blood is arrows, WTF)
Sword Art Online - Goodness this show is gorgeous (highest quality animation, and best art style on the block, IMO). It's definitely different than anything else on the block, and it's centered around my favorite hobby, so it's definitely one to watch, and it made a good first impression.
IGPX - Didn't watch.
Eureka 7 - Rainbow cannon of doom! Utterly fantastic battle between Nirvash & TheEND. Anemone, Dominic, & their little ton of fun are reunited. Uh oh, Rainbow Cannon of Doom part II, and it's the end for TheEND.
Oh, & Big O is on now, too. It's only season 2 though (which isn't as good as the first), so I'll probably pass.

Switch - Blade Strangers

You're in for a real treat, it only gets better from there.
What is the difference between FMA and FMA brotherhood?? I read one actually follows the magna while the other does not...
Is there a need to watch both?

Has anybody else noticed that the Wikipedia page does not cover the anime very well, and doesn't really cover the differences between the two at all? Maybe that's why we keep getting this question every month. Someone really needs to go fix that. Luckily the Wiki has this info: http://fma.wikia.com/wiki/Anime
And just to make one thing perfectly clear, you do not have to watch both shows to get the complete story. It is still recommended, though, if only because they're both good shows in their own right.
Attack On Titan: I've altered my opinion; this series is awesome. It's admittedly slow, but there's this never-ending sense of tension that is alluring. Definitely one of the best shonen shows I have seen.
The World God Only Knows ~ Goddesses: Three letters and one word; OVA continuity. I have no idea what's going on and because of that my entertainment is significantly diminished. Otherwise, I'm curios to see how the anime handles the You-Now-Have-Responsibility problem that the main character has.
WATAMOTE: ...Well, it's definitely interesting. The mix of dark humor, hateful worship, and disturbing imagery definitely makes this anime an interesting watch. I do wonder what the ultimate resolution of the show will be, as conflicting messages are all over the place.
Gargantia on the Verdurous Planet: I thought this was going to be a light science-fiction show and I was right. What sucked is that it came with the unnecessary backage of a nonsensically heavy-handed romance. True, I've still got half a series to watch, but my trust only stretches so far before being obliterated.
My Teen Romantic Comedy SNAFU: I really like this show. Maybe it's the small amounts of nihilism, maybe it's the fact that not everything ends up perfect, or maybe it's the fact that it shows life as what it is (incomplete and non-fulfilling). Definitely one of my favorites.
THE UNLIMITED Hyobu Kyosuke: I haven't read the original manga this show is based off of (Zettai Karen Children) nor have I watched the predecessor show based on the manga (Psychic Squad), but I have a feeling that this anime trumps both of them. Not only is the show easily accessible in terms of plot and characters, but it also delves into the grey area of its setting. From what I've seen there is a bit too much of interference from the source material and some things upon analysis appear nonsensical, but otherwise I'm really digging this show.

On a personal note, I'm more excited about anime on Adult Swim than I've been in a long time. While true that I'm not privy to the ratings info, it looks like they're putting more & more into Toonami, which can only be a good thing.
They now have 4 currently premiering shows (5 if you count "uncut" Naruto), which is more than AS has done for anime in years, or ever.
They produce new content for the block at least every other week (even if it's just a game review, or inspirational speech).
They've been able to bring back SARA, and give the block a brand new look (instead of reusing old designs, like they were initially doing)
They advertise the block during the week (they stopped doing so for anime sometime before the revival, but it's been constant since)
They've done a couple of movie tie-ins for the block (Oblivion & Pacific Rim), which are traditionally reserved for their big comedy nights.
Even when they don't have something new, they have a great knack for reintroducing a show from their back catalogue at just the right time, to keep the block feeling fresh.
They haven't aired a single snarky "anime has crappy ratings" bump, ever since the block premiered
Oh, and the block extension last summer.
It's sure come a long way from it's conservative beginnings May of last year.

Yeah the romance in it sucks. Like most action series don't have the best romance scenes already, but this doesn't even deserve to exist. Especially after they got rid of the cool language barrier gimmick. But more often than not the series doesn't focus on it.

Toonami's continued success has been one of the best things to happen in the past year, and its growth has been continuing from my understanding. Especially great that they're airing an anime from just last year, which I wasn't expecting at all, especially this soon.
I enjoy a lot of stuff. I'm always finding new stuff to watch. I've been watching a lot of Cardfight Vanguard and just started Sword Fight Online. Other than this, been watching some of the original Pokemon (Started with Season 1, but on season 2 atm) among other things. Also some original Digimon on CrunchyRoll. I catch Toonami every Saturday nights also, which rocks!
