I just found a pretty nice anime on youtube, well a beta test that will only be there for so long anyway. (by the end june to be specific, they will make more if the intrest is there.) It's called Little Witch Academia. I found it to be a bit heart warming, definitely has a charm to it. It's here if your intrested. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RBlqxEIJ_Cg

Ah, do they have it subbed in English!?
I remember seeing Imagine-Nation cover it months ago before it released, and then a few weeks ago they mentioned it was on YouTube, but I wasn't aware it was subbed yet.

Yeah, they subbed it in English. I only wish I knew Japanese lol.

Since that's up, I wonder if the other Anime-Mirai projects are up as well...
(Time to go digging through the Japan Discussion to find their names, lol)

So I've gotten a list of animes and I'm looking for reccomendations as to which ones I should really watch.
D.N. Angel
Sands Of destruction
Rideback
Shugo Chara
Ouran High School Host Club
School Rumble
Tsubasa: Reservoir ChronicleXam'd: Lost Memories
xxxHolic
Angel Beats
Control - The Money of Soul and Possibility
Dragon Ball Z
Full Moon O Sagashite
I'm also open to reccomendations as to if I should it dubbed or subbed.
I've seen none of those. I would recommend any of my top 5 though, being:
1. Neon Genesis Evangelion
2. Trigun
3. One Piece
4. Fullmetal Alchemist
5. Death Note
Anime watching: Mobile Suit Gundam, Lupin III, & Jojo's Bizarre Adventure: Diamond is Unbreakable
Reading: The Golden Compass
Just started up Vampire Knight Guilty. Amazing. I also love how they make the beginnings and ends without using scenes from the show. The beginning and ends are fitting, espcially the ending credits. It also keeps the beggining from having spoilers.

D.N. Angel I've heard mixed things about, mostly of the later parts. It's a generally good manga, but it's still ongoing while the series already ended only partway in.
I did not like Rideback. Not much to say about it despite its crazy synopsis.
Shugo Chara is okay, but I found the fanservice unnecessarily weird. It's also an extremely episodic show, which I don't think works for a 100+ episode show...
Ouran Host Club is good, i thought you saw it already, though?
I did not like School Rumble. I even go as far as to say that I hated it.
Tsubasa is good, especially if you're already into Clamp, though I think it had a disappointing ending that did not follow the manga? I'm not sure anymore.
Xam'd I've never seen despite hearing almost nothing but good things about and being mecha. Maybe I'll make that a priority soon.
Xxxholic...was okay, I guess, i don't rember anything about it other than me being disappointed that it had nothing to do with sex/porn addiction. It's clamp, though so probably worth a go.
Why have you not watched Angel Beats?! Drop everything and watch it now!
I get control confused with so many different shows, but IIRC, Retro and Raylax liked it.
Dragon Ball Z is good, mindless fun, but I personally recommend Dragon Ball over it if you looking for things like story or good character development, or intelligent fights.
I know nothing about the other 2 or 3 you mentioned.
Well, watched Brotherhood episode 1 dubbed. I enjoyed it, sort of. It felt like a really flashy way to start off the show. It really didn't introduce any of the characters though, and felt rather rushed. I can't imagine someone with no knowledge of the series enjoying it as much as I did. The new voices are all right. Al's new voice is even more high pitched that the old one, lessing the credibility that he's 13/14 even more, it also makes him more annoying. Mustang's voice, while different, fit the character well. Hughe's voice was alright, but not as good IMO than the first anime's. Like I said earlier, Armstrong, Bradly, Mustang, Hughes, even the Elric Brothers didn't get that great an introduction. I was able to sympathize with the episode's villain, simply because I had knowledge of the Ishbal/Ishval war/massacre. Overall I'd say it was a fine episode, but wasn't accessible at all for newcomers.
Anime watching: Mobile Suit Gundam, Lupin III, & Jojo's Bizarre Adventure: Diamond is Unbreakable
Reading: The Golden Compass
The animation is better, the hint with Lust and Gluttony at the end was good as well. However, the hint at corruption in the government is a bit too early for the first episode. None of the characters really got good introductions though at all.

@CanisWolfred I hear Tsubasa has a completely mind destroying ending? Not sure where I heard it or if it was meant in a good way or a bad way, but I heard it frequently. @Jaz007 WATCH ANGEL BEATS! It's amazing. Be warned though, bring tissues. Actually, my girlfriend just finished watching Angel Beats. I told her to check it out and I think she finished all of it in 2 or 3 days. She loved it.
I've decided to start up Soul Eater again; mainly because I've just figured out FMA Brotherhood seems to have been removed from Netflix... I remember hearing about this a while ago, but I forgot. Oh well.
EDIT: @Rocko
Well, FMA's much more story based that most manga I've ever read, so the filler opening in the anime seems to tie nicely into the whole thing.
Just be warned that until the point where the original FMA anime split off, the episodes will not be as slow paced-- instead it kind of blows through the beginning of the story so it can get to the "changed" plot.
@Jaz007 Just going to give my 2 cents on the anime I know about from your list
Ouran High School Host Club - Excellent comedy series, a bit of Japanese weirdness but I don't think you'll mind it.
School Rumble - RomCom, but more on the comedy side. If you can laugh at characters who do ridiculous things to get noticed by their crush, and yet don't mind that the show never provides the reason why the crushes exist, you'll enjoy this. I'm with CanisWolfred though, after a little while the show felt shallow especially with all the characters who inexplicably loved other characters despite being complete strangers, and I couldn't keep watching it.
xxxHolic - Supernatural Detective show - I only watched a bit of this before forgetting about it :/ It's quite good, the stories are intriguing, and I kept being told that Tsubasa was far better.
Angel Beats - Saw some of this. It's by Key's Jun Maeda, who writes fantastically depressing stories with incredibly likable characters. I've heard a few bad things about the pacing though.
Dragon Ball Z - Wait, how have you not watched Dragon Ball Z? Well, it's a pretty off-the-wall fighting anime which never tries to take itself too seriously. It's a victim of the Seinfeld Effect though; it influenced so much anime after it that you're bound to find it predictable and repetitive.
always thought I'd change to Gyarados after I turned 20 but hey, this is more fitting I guess. (also somebody registered under the original Magikarp name and I can't get back to it anymore orz)

they mean the manga, since I remember everyone was disappointed about the Tsubasa anime. I've actually read both and I still think Holic is better (which says a lot considering this goes against my preference for plot-heavy anime/manga). Tsubasa is a pretty good action manga and is filled with cameos, but outside of the cool but often minimal interaction with Holic and a couple of volumes in the later half, it's not of comparable quality imo.
I mean Tsubasa is fine, but xxxHolic is really great.
How does xxxHolic work? I was reading through issues one, at least I think it was one, and Sakura and Saoyran come from their story to xxxHolic's??? I'm sure I read it out of context probably.

There's a couple of major and a decent amount of minor crossover between the two series. TSUBASA VOLUME 1 SPOILERS I GUESS
Tsubasa is about traveling to different worlds in different dimensions. The Tsubasa team occasionally makes contact with the female fortune teller/magical item owner/important character from Holic to exchange items for reasons.
From my understanding, outside of the fortune teller being in Tsubasa, they pretty much cut out all the crossover parts from the anime of both series. It isn't a huge loss but it is kinda cool and if you want to get into specifically both series, I'd do them at the same time and the manga.
