Guys, I have summer vacation for like a week before I have to stop having free time; should I try to binge watch an anime or two, or should I binge game and clear up my backlog a bit?

I'm so conflicted it huuurtssss.

Do both.

NOOOOOOOOOOO

I can't possible multitask things like these... It'll kill me!

I meant separately. Find and anime that's not too long, watch that and play some game with the other time. Just divide your time between the things and enjoy your free time to the fullest that way. I'm with ya on a the multitasking. I can't enjoy thing as much if do them at the exct same time.

@TysonOfTime, may I suggest trying to watch a couple of anime movies, rather than binging an entire series?

You'll get the satisfaction of seeing something through to the end, without being stressful on your schedule. I made a huge list of recommendations to @Retro_on_theGo a page or two ago, so you could check that out.

With the rest of your free time, play something relaxing like an Animal Crossing or Harvest Moon, or something great in quick bursts like Tetris or Columns.

Switch - Blade Strangers
PS4 - Kingdom Hearts III, Tetris Effect (VR)

I find the characters of Evangelion more likable because of their flaws. They're the most layered, and complex characters I've seen in any anime.

Most anime shows I watch have some crazy features (Beautiful woman, eyes turn into hearts, crazy facial expressions, that kind of stuff), but I guess gotta get used to it. I do like Mecha. Is that what the genre with the giant robot or robot-like creatures is called like shows such as Baukugan or the show @Rocko52 watches? I miss Baukugan, it was quite entertaining. Hated Pokemon, Beyblade did good. Most anime I have watched has had some pretty nifty stories, so it maybe something I should get a little more intetrested in. I may start with the Mecha genre. It is only possible that I may start, not likely.

Yes Evangelion is mecha. I definitely recommend it.

Well...I watched End of Evangelion.....
By the end of the first half (episode 25) I was tearing up a bit, and gearing up for the second half....
.........by the end of the movie...I was tearing up for a very different reason....

Toonami Saturday night!

Bleach - missed it.

Naruto - missed it.

One Piece - Woohoo, they won the second game, and that referee finally got what was coming to him! Shocking pick from the other crew! (BTW, I just realized the big guy in the green shirt is totally Oolong, lol)

Soul Eater - An all out assault on the DWMA!? This sure has escalated quickly, and is getting exciting!

IGPX - didn't watch!

Eureka 7 - Oh my, I thought he was just misinformed, but Dewey is an absolute nut job. Meanwhile, Renton & Eureka realize a surprising revelation that was hinted to the viewer last episode, along with a suspicious ring.

Metroid Magna Volume 1 is a FANTASTIC read. It has a phenomenal and quite a striking story. Artwork is well done too, especially Samus's suit. Though I have to warn you about a lot of cuss words (I didn't expect a lot of cuss words), so I'm just gonna avoid reading 2 because my Mom probably wouldn't want me to. Still an amazing magna book.

Might as well start at the source for mecha and watch Mobile Suit Gundam, the show that invented the genre. It's really good military science fiction.

'Course, if you want something like Bakugan, there's always Zoids, which is great, too.

@CanisWolfred: I may look into those shows. Yes, I did like Baukugan, so I may eventually watch Zoids.

Hold on... what was the second game in the anime? I just want to know because in the Manga there are three and in the Anime I heard there were more...

I dunno about End of Eva. It started off very thrilling and dramatic, then half way through it turned into an art film. I found it executed much better than the last two episodes, and somehow I felt like it was a good resolution, but initially it shocked me. I've since been looking into it over the internet, and I think I only slightly better understand. Yet, it feels like a solid conclusion that can be examined several times, and still find new things each time. Since it is much more layered, and well thought out then the show's ending, I applaud it, sort of. While it's too much for a mainstream audience to handle, it does provide a fitting End to Evangelion.

Now to start Brotherhood...
