I just finished watching Goku Midnight Eye on YouTube.

It was your 80's future cop style show, with some unique twists. Firstly, the main character (Goku), was loosely based on the character from the Journey to the West novel (complete with extending staff, that also shoots lasers). Secondly, he was also the guy from the upcoming Watch_Dogs, as he had control over every computer system in the world, via his supercomputer eye (and yes, he even pulled off the same stunt seen in the game, as with making a large city black out). Oh, and he's a little bit Batman as well (as he hacks a military arms factory to construct himself a Batmobile-like vehicle in the second half).

I'd say it's definitely worth a look, especially for it's unique biologically/technologically enhanced villains (like the laser spitting, motorcycle, cat woman...), but it's definitely one for the older anime fans, due to it's graphic content.

Currently Playing:
Switch - Blade Strangers
PS4 - Kingdom Hearts III, Tetris Effect (VR)

I'm thinking of watching 5 Centimeters per Second when I come back. Will I cry? And is the English dub good?

5 Centimeters per Second is another favorite of mine. I don't know if you'll cry, but I thought it was an intimate and moving film. It's very bittersweet, which tends to be the type of fiction that sticks with me the most.

And I remember the dub being pretty good - or at least not noticeably bad.

We seem to have similar taste in anime movies.
Thanks for the info. Sounds like what I was looking for. Can't wait to watch it.

Just finished Bamboo Blade. It was a pretty good anime. At first I thought the last episode was going to be a dissapointing finale, but they pulled it together pretty good.

well I ran it through an app and I got an answer:
The Decision has been made.
Follow the decider machine's advice, or bad things will happen.
FMA B

So i guess it's settled.

Hope you enjoy it. I know I did.

Well didnt know I'd watch it this soon, but now I'll be able to compare it to FMA.

Well I saw the full theater episode of Fairy Tail. I wouldn't mind so much if it had an ending. The filler episodes seem to be conclusionless. It was a fun episode though.

Could the funimation website try any harder not to work?!

Well Evangelion is probably mt favorite, or second favorite anime currently. I just loved it. Minus the show's last two episodes, but I still need to watch End of Eva.
An example of EVA's great character dev:

That was not good character development. That was just a very morbid scene to try to make you feel sorry her, and forget for 5 seconds that she's a total *****. It no way did that show her evolving as a character. Heck, despite its best attempts, it doesn't even establish why she is the way she, since she was a ***** before her mom went crazy, too. All it did was establish shock value, nothing more. You don't need to see End of Eva, you need to see the Rebuild movies, where Asuka actually develops into a likeable character instead of just becoming more of a *****.

Guys, I have summer vacation for like a week before I have to stop having free time; should I try to binge watch an anime or two, or should I binge game and clear up my backlog a bit?

Are there any good places to watch Fairy Tail dubbed aside from Dubhappy? Cause non if the episodes are working there after 36. There is an ad on the video and then it doesn't work, and I'm getting kinda of sick of using Funiamation.
