You haven't even gotten to the good part yet. The first 10 episodes are terrible compared to...well, they're just terrible. You have low standards. Prepare for the bar to be raised by episode 20.
So I'm guessing The Disappearance of Haruhi Suzumiya isn't as enjoyable if you haven't finished the series?
Pretty much. Unfortunately it's looking more and more like a series finale on the anime side of things since Kyo-ani is doing anything except adapting anymore Haruhi, which makes me sad.
If i dont get into this anime,I guess i'll jump back into Fairy Tail and just skip the filler season(I really didnt want to do this but the filler so far as i remember sucked)

Rurouni Kenshin is one of my favorites!
It's set 10 years after the end Meiji Revolution, and it follows Kenshin Himura. He is a highly skilled swordsman who killed countless people during the war, but has since devoted his life to protecting the weak, and never to kill again (using a "reverse blade" sword).
He gets settled down in a sword dojo in Tokyo (which he protects in episode one, from someone claiming to be him), but soon word of his identity gets out, and young punks & old rivals seek him out to make a name for themselves.
The story evolves from there, but that's how it starts.

I'd honestly suggest the manga instead. Arguably the best arc isn't in the anime and it apparently ends with some truly awful filler. What I did watch also went way too quickly with some of the earlier stories too. I mean it was decent despite that I suppose but the manga was better and the last arc works so perfectly as a conclusion to the story people shouldn't miss out on it.
for dbz fans theres a new dbz game coming for ps3,xbox 360,ps vita its called dragon ball z battle of z and according to the scan it will go up to saiyan saga to battle of gods saga thing it will be releasing this year
EDIT:and the graphics look like ultimate tenkaichi and burst limit mixed
On Monday night I watched Riding Bean on YouTube. It was literally a prototype of Gunsmith Cats, so it was neat seeing the "beta" versions of characters, before their appearances & roles were finalized. The art & animation was just as fantastic as it's later incarnation, with the high octane action just as great. The only real downside was the flat voice acting.
Tuesday night I watched Grappler Baki: The Ultimate Fighter. The animation was good, and it was non-stop action (the fights were really great, and held a couple of true surprises). There was just a simple story, but I think it worked really well here (the main character was your general gung-ho, always upbeat type). There wasn't a great sense of progression by the end though...
Today I read the newest chapter of Bleach! They've completely reinvented Ichigo, yet again. While I like where they're going with the overall story, it seems like after the defeat of Aizen, they are constantly rebuilding Ichigo (you finally get used to one form, and then they tear it all down, and rebuild him). Now he has (SPOILERS) two Zanpakuto! each one with a completely new design, and that's not counting their inevitable design change during Bankai as well, and of course will affect how he fights (SPOILERS END).

On a very different note I've reached Evangelion episode 20. While I can safely say I'm very much enjoying the show, it is starting to get...confusing.
