Topic: Anime & Manga (NO SPOILERS PLEASE)

@TheKingofTown Fairy Tail gets really good around episode 20. If you can, try to pull through. It's worth it once you get there. I know my opinion of the show did a 180 when I got to that point.

Since I loved Trigun so much, I've looked up some more of Yasuhiro Nightow's work, and found Gungrave, an anime based on a video game with characters designed by Nightow. Is the anime any good?

Saw episode 3 of The Devil is a Part-Timer just now. This show's getting good. That ending had me in stitches. I have no idea if that was intended to be serious humor or I was just in a good mode but the change was just too random.

In a word: Yes. Not Trigun Good, but still pretty good.

Since it was made in 2004, I can tell Madhouse's animation improved, but it's still got the same feel. I'll check it out sometime.

Forgot to mention there was a very random short Railgun and Toradora cameo in Okami-san and Her Seven Companions. The main girls of each series showed up in a compilation of girls one of the main characters has hit on. Thought it was pretty funny.

Based on your quote I'm assuming you like Kid Icarus Uprising. Do you think a good anime could be made from it?

Just finished brotherhood, better then the first one (or at least I think since I watched the first like a year ago).

In any case I'm finding it harder and harder to determine a favorite. Trigun is undermining Death Note and FMA while sort of tying with them, and One PIece just keeps getting better. Fruits Basket, Gargantia, Bleach are all good but they aren't AS good IMO. Then Attack on Titan is amazing but it's not done yet.

Just gonna throw out a question, what's everyone's favorite OSTs?

The part where they stayed in their own universe (jk) I would have to say that the story was a lot better, saw new characters, etc.

Cowboy Bebop's outstanding soundtrack is one of the many reasons why I love it so much. Really, anything scored by Yoko Kanno is pretty much guaranteed to have phenomenal music.

And a lot of action shounen shows (One Piece, Bleach, Naruto/Shippuden and Rurouni Kenshin, to name just a few) tend to have appropriately fun and memorable OSTs. I quite enjoyed all of the Spanish guitar tracks from Bleach's Hueco Mundo arc.

I like Bleach, One Piece, and FMA's OSTs, but Trigun's really takes the cake for me.

@Rocko - FLCL. Seriously, there's few other shows with more good JRock than that one, even though it's only 6 episodes long. Songs like Crazy Sunshine, Hybrid Rainbow, Ride on Shooting Star, I Think I can, Little Busters, and Last Dinosaur, all by The Pillows, resonate with me in a way few other bands do.

Is it a good show?

It's a fantastic show. Easily part of my Top 10.
