Ever watched Fruits Basket? I know it's Shoujo but...I kinda like Shoujo.

My sister and my cousin have both been big fans of Fruits Basket for years, but I've never watched or read it myself. It's actually available for instant Netflix, though, so I might give it a shot sometime.

I'm 5 episodes in, it makes a good comedy and drama.

Let me just jump in here real quick and say that I love Fruits Basket!!! I am only 5 episodes in (about to watch the 6th here in just a few minutes) and it is a great drama/comedy. Highly recommend it.

Fruits Basket is great. If felt like the series wasn't over when ended though. I heard they might be making another season though. (Note: I wouldn't trust what I just said to be very reliable.)

As happens a lot with anime, I'd guess they'd rather make a remake, seeing as the manga ran up-til 2006, whereas the anime ran for only a few months.

Fruits Basket was pretty good from what I read of it back in the day. I doubt it would get remade though, since a lot of modern anime still draws from the same character types and storylines, just like with Love Hina.

I'm just saying if they ever do make another anime, it'll more likely be a remake then a sequel to the anime.

I started watching Soul Eater. It's more interesting than I had initially thought.

Have you made an account at MyAnimeList or a similar anime/manga site?

I've found that having one has helped me keep much better track of all the stuff I've watched, plan to watch, etc.

ironically, I never seem to use the "plan to read/watch" sections. I think now it's just some sequels to anime series I've already watched and a grand total of 3 manga.

Oh my gosh, I'm so excited for this new Makoto Shinkai movie. It's called The Garden of Words, and it seems to be a magic-realist romance type film. And the soundtrack is done by the incredible Daisuke Kashiwa! Seriously, I can't emphasise how amazing this composer is.

Just read the newest chapter of Bleach! More focus on the Soul Reapers' fierce training, with Mayuri in the middle of a frightening new experiment, Sajin challenging his clan's leader, and Ichigo being forced to make a surprising sacrifice!

After watching 5 Centimeters Per Second last winter, you can consider me interested in anything Makoto Shinkai does.

I could not have loved that movie more.

Yeah, they showed a bit of The Garden of Words last night on Imagine-Nation, and it looked absolutely gorgeous.

They're going to be going more in depth next week, so I can't wait!
