Well I'd be lying if I said I've loved every moment of it - the majority of episodes definitely have slower moments in them. But it also has this really unique charm about it too, and I'm a fan of how character-focused it is.

And yeah, thanks.

Things REALLY start getting good at Water 7. I will continue to egg on any and all who have not yet reached that point.

After the Davy Back Arc (or arcs? I think he anime draws it out...) You'll be at Water 7. That's what cements it in my eyes as the best manga series I've ever read. (Dunno about the anime, but I'm guessing it would improve there as well.)

Hey everyone, sorry I haven't been posting, but I haven't been getting e-mail notifications. Just wanted to say that I just finished Trigun tonight. I took longer than expected, it's only 26 episodes. I'm extremely glad I stuck with it, my initial judgement was all wrong. Anyways, I think it's time to post anime progress.

Bleach- Finished Episode 27
Attack on Titan- Finished Episode 7
One Piece- Finished Episode 27
Trigun- Finished Series
Gargantia on the Verdurous Planet- Finished Episode 7
Fruits Basket- Finished Episode 2

Anime watching: Mobile Suit Gundam, Lupin III, & Jojo's Bizarre Adventure: Diamond is Unbreakable
Reading: The Golden Compass

^ Glad you liked Trigun. It's been forever since I last saw it, so eventually I might try rewatching it.

I have quite a bit of nostagia for it, seeing as it was on Adult Swim's anime lineup, during the summer I first started watching AS.

Currently Playing:
Switch - Blade Strangers
PS4 - Kingdom Hearts III, Tetris Effect (VR)

I was very glad Vash didn't kill Knives, but I can't help but wonder what they'll do with such an insanely powerful individual who wants to destroy humanity, his beliefs about humanity are so strong I seriously doubt Vash could change them. I also never quite understood just what exactly Knives and Vash are. I think Knives mentioned them being plants...did he mean plants that photosynthesize, or the plants that humans on the planet use for power? My last loose end, is how the Gung-ho Guns were so powerful. I know it's an anime, but I still am curious how these humans got their powers, and why they were following Vash to begin with.

They're humanoid power plants (It's been awhile, so I can't remember whether it was having a meltdown, or if it was just running out of energy, but in one city, Vash went inside one of those old power plants [looks like a big light bulb] and connected with it, to fix it).

Aaaaand I just caved in to rewatch a certain anime. That's right boys and girls I'm taking up where I left off on my third (fourth?) rewatch of CardCaptor Sakura. Currently on episode 27. I'm watching the Spanish dub. The best one! :3

I love Card Capour Salkura I watch it in Japanese with English captions as the English dub is absolutely horrific. I've watched it once and have a second watching through to finish. The show has great hurmor that manages to constantly use the same jokes and make them just as funny each time and has a surprisingly deep plot with a lot of backround and some surprising twists.

Ah, now that scene makes some more sense! Like I've said, I'm still curious what Knives would do now, and where The Gung-Ho Guns came from. On a separate note I'm really liking Fruits Basket.

I'm on episode 4 of Gargantia. I wouldn't say it's a great series so far but I'm really interested in where it's going and I'm glad for all the good world building and the cool different language gimmick.

I had something of a mini-marathon over the weekend and watched all 12 episodes of Another. Wow. It's well-animated and pretty to look at, the show does a good job of foreshadowing who the "dead person" is throughout its run (with plenty of red herrings, to keep you on your toes) without giving it away until the very end and there is something resembling... well, saying that there's a "happy ending" is a huge stretch, though there is a return to normalcy.

But man, the many horrible deaths and the dark character transformations (especially in the last couple of episodes) it depicts were absolutely brutal to watch at times, and are probably what will most stick with me. I spent most of the show's run with a sense of dread over what terrible thing was going to happen to these poor kids next.
