Can anyone explain why each episode of Hetalia is 5 minutes long?

Because it's a series of shorts?

It's based off of a webcomic and was initially released as an ONA, so Hetalia's bite-sized run-times make a certain degree of sense. Well, to me at least.

How'd you feel after watching "Night of the Chimera's Cry"?

I went to bed feeling weird, I'll tell you that. Just the fact that he used the only two people in his life was just sickening yet also pretty sad.

I love that episode, it left me feeling so depressed. I love FMA.

Started watching Inuyasha again, I stopped at around episode 30 months back and picked up from there.

Does anyone know of any good ninja animes? (Naurato does not count as a ninja anime) Edit: Not TV-MA rated.

There is the anime movie Ninja Scroll which I thought was pretty good (albiet mature). There is a related TV anime as well, but it seems a lot different, especially in style.

I thought Basilisk was pretty good. Fair warning though, it can be quite dark, violent and sad at times.

And if you have Netflix, the series available for Instant.

So are we talking Tv-14 violent, or Tv-MA violent?

I wouldn't say it's quite as explicit as Ninja Scroll, but it's definitely TV-MA.

Just watched the new attack on titan episode, it was EPIC!, why couldn't it last longer

P.S Episode 8 was crazy.......i just wish the episode was longer,the episodes feel so short to me.Wel i'll see what happens next week.

Bleach - Another poorly timed filler episode. It was a intriguing idea though, being a little prequel story leading to the 4th Bleach movie (although they made the movie villains OP, with how quickly they dispatched those Espada).

Naruto - A simple recap episode, although it was presented in a humorous way.

One Piece - The rules of the fight are set! Looking forward to it.

Soul Eater - This just topped last week's episode of One Piece, when it comes to anime making me laugh. Seriously hilarious episode (I couldn't control myself as soon as something unfortunate happened to Death the Kid's paper, lol).

IGPX - Didn't watch.

Eureka 7 - Pretty good episode, looks like it's getting close to the end.

Oh, and they reviewed Far Cry 3: Blood Dragon. 10/10

Yesterday I discovered One Piece.

Obviously I'd known about its existence but had yet to sit down and actually watch it. And now I feel like an idiot for not doing it sooner. I'm only about six episodes into it right now, but I like it. It kind of has a refreshing style and pace I haven't gotten from the small amount of anime I've watched and the music is catchy as all hell...

I'm looking forward to see where it goes.

One piece is awesome. Just 6 episodes and you already like it? That's a good sign! It only gets better.

^Indeed. One Piece really does only get better from the beginning. In fact, I actually found the beginning quite slow and boring compared to later parts. Not to say it was bad - it really just says how good the series gets if those episodes could be considered "boring" in comparison.

Well I'd be lying if I said I've loved every moment of it - the majority of episodes definitely have slower moments in them. But it also has this really unique charm about it too, and I'm a fan of how character-focused it is.
