I guess that's good because it allows for more creativity, due to the fact that the author isn't rushing to get it all out at once in an actual volume.

In Japan manga is generally published weekly/monthly in a magazine. Whenever there's a certain number of chapters done (varies) they collect them for a volume release. Obviously there is much exception to this, but think to this as a very general rule, at least with serialized manga.

If comicbooks were released in anthology-style magizines instead of individual issues, then yes, it's like a comicbook if they had more variety.

Just read the newest chapter of Bleach! The story of the pasts of Ichigo's parents is starting to come to a close, with them about to reveal who really killed Ichigo's mom.

Oh, and this marked the first time I've noticed fan service in Bleach (536 chapters in, that was a bit of a surprise... ).

Congratz. Did you see both seasons? If so, which season was your favorite?

I've been meaning to rewatch it. Haven't seen it since 2003.

Only saw the first one.I am actually a little hesitant to watch the 2nd season because i heard that Hei isnt much of a badass anymore.I will probably end up watching it just because its only 12 episodes

Ah, well, then at least you finished the more well-regarded season. That reminds me, I should get around to finishing the series as well...after I sort through the rest of my ever-piling backlog.
