Has anyone heard of the anime called samurai pizza cats, I sure as hell haven't.

True, but anime sometimes makes what sounds terrible awesome.

And sometimes it can make it even worse than it sounds.

I've heard of it!! What happened was, an American dubbing company in the 80's (?) got their hands on an anime. Instead of translating it, they wrote their original script based on what they could understand of the original. I hear it's actually rather good.

I saw the first episode. For an early 90s dub, it was quite good and seemed like something that would have fit perfectly on early 90s kid television.

Samurai Pizza Cats is getting a rerelease, but sadly, apparently they had some trouble with aquiring the English Dub. Last I heard, we'll be getting a Japanese-audio-only set first, meaning if you want to see the differences, you gotta buy both sets. And If you want the Dub, you gotta wait a long time. They're shooting for July for the English Dub release.

EDIT: I just checked, and the Japanese uncut version is sold out, too...damnit...

Is it really that big a deal? I mean, it's just some random anime that we only just heard about. For me, I'll only buy a few select anime that I really enjoy.

Um, I heard about Samurai Pizza Cats a long time ago. Like, back in the '90s, I'm pretty sure...it's kind of considered an underappreciated classic that a lot of people have nostalgia for, especially the English dub. Personally, I would've bought a dual-audio version just to see the differences between the two. I definitely want the English Dubbed DVDs, though. It's not every day I get a Japanese interpretation of my favorite style of character designs. Not sure if I'll be able to get it, seeing as I'm running out of space for more Anime, and I only buy the stuff I think is the best (except for Utawarerumono...not sure what I was thinking there...).

The more action filled the better. Thank you very much.
(I would pick some out myself, but since my anime watching pool is small, I thought that maybe you guys might have better ones that I wouldn't have known about otherwise x3.)

Ah, gotcha. That makes sense... I know you're a fan of Fairy Tale, and I've heard some compare it to One Piece, what would you say about it?

I enjoy both the first & second InuYasha openings.

The second and twelfth Bleach openings are great.

The first Rurouni Kenshin opening is great.

All of the Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood openings are good, but I really enjoy the first.

Oh, and the first Dragon Ball Z opening is a classic (both original & english versions are great).

I also really enjoy the final G Gundam opening.
