You know I think SSY actively made me more sad as a...person. Considering SSY is nowhere near my favorite anime or even the most emotional one I've seen, this is a pretty bad sign for me.

I can't help but feel like we'll get a cop out though, like what we thought we saw happen won't be how it turns out. Or it could just...do "That", and if so then that was a very bold move for the show.
(Sorry, tried to completely avoid spoilers)

I saw the first episode of the Hentai Prince and the Stony Cat last night, and to be honest I thought the show's a lot better than I gave it credit for. The female lead is a very interesting character, and it's leaning more towards innocent comedy rather than what I'd normally expect from a show with "Hentai Prince" in the title.
always thought I'd change to Gyarados after I turned 20 but hey, this is more fitting I guess. (also somebody registered under the original Magikarp name and I can't get back to it anymore orz)
Twice i thought, Eren was just thinking stuff that would be going to happen and the Titan didnt do what it did.But no everything that happened, happened, happened. And what the heck, Eren lost 2 parts.
I would also like to ask that @rocko52 please stop making useless posts. It's not just a rule, it's proper forum ettiquette, and you won't find a forum on the internet when you won't annoy people by frequently doing that. If you have nothing better to say than "hmm?" or "huh" or even "I agree", then either don't post anything, or better yet, stop and think of something even slightly more substantial to say, which I know you can do. Remember, this isn't a chatroom, this isn't a real life conversation, this is a forum, and on a forum you have, to some degree, the freedom of time. You can take you time and think posts through. Not to say every post should be an essay, but at least they should make sense to the person reading them. "Huh" means nothing to the reader. "Hmm?" can mean anything without any added context.
TL;DR - All we're asking is that you think before you act, and either try to add something to the conversations you seem so interested in, or simply sit back and let them play out. That shouldn't be too much to ask.
Also, @rocko52, I'd like to thank you for getting better at not pestering people. At least in the past week or so, I haven't noticed you ask the same question multiple times in one day, nor have I noticed you try to pressure people to watch something they already said they have no interest in. Thank you, and keep up the good work.
The new episode of attack on titan (episode 5) was enough to p!ss you off, I won't spoil anything but it seemed unfair to the humans. Still a good episode.
So, I just binge-watched the last half of Neon Genesis Evangelion and the movie in one day.
Suffice to say, it was not a good idea. It's just a lot of philosophy to wrap one's head around. Don't get me wrong, there was some phenomenal stuff in there, and by the time I reached episode 20 I was seriously thinking it was the best anime I'd ever seen. Then it fell flat on its face at the end (or ends). I don't really see why the movie had to be that dark, either. I mean, the f-bombs and that scene at the beginning seemed a bit much. Still, I can't deny its artistic value, and there's some really interesting stuff in there I've got to wrap my head around. Definately worth watching if you're a fan of anime, if only it's to see what really made anime so popular when it comes to its artistic value. Just don't necessarily put it on the top of your list for things to watch if it isn't already there. And don't start it if you're under 17. I seriously think that End of Evangelion would have been NC-17 if it came out in movie theaters.
@moomoo, yeah, while I enjoyed the series a lot (even if it got a bit weird at the end), I never did like End of Evangelion.
Seeing as how they're remaking the series as a series of movies, I'm probably not the only one, either. I've only seen the first one (Evangelion 1.11 You Are (Not) Alone), but it was great. Once you're in the mood for more Evangelion I suggest you try it out.
