I've been discouraged from finishing Gunsmith Cats, which is a shame, because I've been enjoying it.

The series has a total of 10 volumes (5 for the original series, and 5 for the sequel), but for some reason, Manga Fox only has 5 total volumes, which are mixed between the original & the sequel.

The first two volumes they have are from the sequel, while the other 3 are from the original (meaning I didn't get a conclusion to the sequel, and I don't know how the original starts, barring me from following it's story).

I watched the first three episodes of Lucky Star last night. It's a pretty good anime. I look forward to watching more of it.

Lucky star was the first anime I ever saw, and I'm really glad it was ^^.
It was like a giant ad for The melancholy of Hauhi Suzumiya and Sgt. Frog. So it kinda plugged me into those after I was finished. So it was easy for me to find more anime to watch.

Anybody here into Soul Eater? I like both the manga and the anime.

I watch it every Saturday night on Toonami.

I'm not a big fan of how it's stylized (how the sun & moon look, for example), but I like that the action & animation are detailed & fluid (oh, and Death the Kid is hilarious )

I haven't really been paying much attention to Toonami for the last month or so, so I need to ask - has Soul Eater reached any of the Excalibur episodes yet?

Yep, he (it?) was introduced two episodes ago.

Darn, I was I hoping I hadn't missed it. All of the episodes that revolve around him tend to be my favorites.

I started watching My Teen Romantic Comedy SNAFU. It's a weird mix of tropes and non-tropes that blends into something that's bizarrely enjoyable. Also, I love how the writing at the end of the third episode is so self-aware of itself.

Man, the style of Soul Eater was my favorite part! I loved the sun and the moon!

To each their own, I suppose.

I just like it when anime is a little more grounded in reality when it comes to style.

I gotta agree with that. I loved the style and I still find it to be the most memorable part of the show/manga.

So the current episode I watched of Shippuden is filler for...season 3 of the first series...wha-what? Um...ok? I mean there's some cute things where other characters are talking about stuff that the audience didn't know until later and it honestly has a lot of the fun and caring about more than 1/3 of what should be the main cast (aka the 4 main genin leaf teams) that's been missing from the sequel series. Also this nullifies any defense of Shippuuden having infinitely less awesome background music, as the older soundtrack is fittingly used for it.
