Anyone heard of The "Hentai" Prince and the Stone Cat?

I've heard of it, but I don't recall anyone I know watching it...I certainly didn't. Its premise sounds dumb as hell.

@CanisWolfred
All the reviews I've read so far said the animation's great, the characters are good, and the plot/dialogue is funny.

I don't read reviews, nor do I trust them. I'm just saying I think it will be stupid, so says my gut, which have never lead me astray.

I mean hell, if you think it's good, feel free to be the first person I know to actually watch it. Maybe you'll like it, maybe you won't.

I've never really tried a comedic anime before, so I'll give it a go.

I've been watching Black Butler lately. And while I prefer comedic anime (like Sgt. Frog, Squid Girl, ect) this one's grown on me

I watch Soul Eater. It's the only anime that I watch. Unless Pokemon counts.

I finished Sankarea today! That was a really entertaining ride. The ending was kind of out of nowhere so I hope there's a second season. Either that or I'll have to start reading the manga because I'd love to keep following the story.

I saw the pole to heaven club on Funi's YouTube channel.

The what?

The stripper pole to heaven! We get a really tall pole! And climb into space! BAM! Eventually we'll get to heaven! That's Panty's logic anyways.

Remember what I said earlier about warming up to Black Butler? I take it back. It was the middle of the creepy doll arc, right after the birthday where I stopped. I don't know, it's just too dark, demonic (literally), and all around gloomy to me. In fact after I watched that last episode, I read the latest CoD related post on here. Oddly, as I was reading the comments on it, a deep, pure, profound hated for MS and Sony came over me, which has never happened like this. To make my point even further, I envisioned the headquarters of the companies burning to the ground as certain music from Black Butler played in my head. I never think like that, at all. Say what you will, but I'm thinking that anime has some serious negative affects on me. I'll try to finish it, but if another incident like I just described happens, I'm never watching it again.

Hmm...if dark/depressing anime isn't your forte, back away from Death Note and Attack on Titan.

It's not that I can't handle dark/depressing, believe me I've seen some pretty sadistic stuff, but there is just something about Black Butler that I can't quite put my finger on or otherwise explain...

One of my friends recently cosplayed as Stocking. I'm not entirely sure if I respect her more or less because of it.

and I second @EdJericho's recommendation of Gintama - it's utterly hilarious and also very creative. I've only seen the first couple of episodes though, and some select clips.

always thought I'd change to Gyarados after I turned 20 but hey, this is more fitting I guess. (also somebody registered under the original Magikarp name and I can't get back to it anymore orz)

I've been meaning to give Gintama a go for a long while now. It's just been one of those things where the length of the show intimidates me a bit. It's not the length itself so much that drives me away, but I'm someone that mainly watches one anime at a time (with movies and on-going anime that I'm caught up on being the exceptions), so whenever I get invested in a long-running series, it's pretty much the only thing I watch for several months.

I mean, I love One Piece and all, but man, I watched maybe three anime films and an OVA series for the 4 months or so that it took me to start OP from the beginning and catch up to the then-current arc.

EDIT: Oh, that's something of a lie; I definitely took a brief break from OP to watch the underwhelming Blade of the Immortal at some point.

Actually, I like any genre, not just Shonen. Bleach and One Piece are probably the most Shonen-y series I watch, but I'm open to anything as long as I like it. I did in fact watch some of Hentai Prince and found it to be quite funny, and when I have time this weekend I'll watch more.

So after the third episode of Flowers of Evil... I quite admire just how much effort the creators took to make everything so grotesque. Even the voices can be painful to listen to when there's a real shouting match happening.

I want to punch Kasuga though. I don't normally feel this way about anyone, but Kasuga's just such a weakling that he goes beyond pity. I mean sure, everyone can relate to the lead who's in the wrong place at the wrong time and ends up in an awkward situation. Kasuga on the other hand, is just incredibly inept at everything he does! I can't even feel sorry for his situation, because it seems like he vehemently refuses to stand up for himself when it's clear that he should be doing something. (sorry, I'm ranting now) Nakamura, on the other hand, is still as terrifying as always.

I finally got around to watching Attack on Titan, and I have to say it's pretty darn epic. A little too bloody for my tastes, but epic none the less.
