thanks for the tip.. makes perfect sense.. gonna give season 2 another shot.. it's a shame though
I honestly don't think it was worth watching. The animation was terrible, the excecution wasn't as good, and the writing wasn't as good (yet the original manga creator was the head writer this time...) 'Course, it's only 13 episodes plus two OVAs, if you really want to finish it.
Well I finished watching kampfer, it had potential but it ended early and the ending was both fan service and lame, now im watching black butler since there is nothing else to watch.
Here is a fun question to all, what is your favorite anime opening?, I know there is a few openings that I really enjoyed, the one up there ^ being one of them and some that I forgot the name of -_-, I really don't know what mine is.

-The 2nd, 3rd and 5th ones from Naruto (first series obviously)
-the Sayonara Zetsubou Sensei seasons. All of them.
-2nd one for Eureka 7
-Welcome to the NHK
-a lot from Detective Conan but especially the 22nd one
stuff like Steins;Gate and Nichijou are up there too
Endings is probably lot easier. A couple of Conan stuff also, but mainly FLCL and I believe it's called Paradise Kiss. I haven't actually seen the latter beyond the ending but it uses FRANZ FREAKING FERDINAND and rules.

So far, all of the FMA openings (1-3) and the Death Note Openings.
Anime watching: Mobile Suit Gundam, Lupin III, & Jojo's Bizarre Adventure: Diamond is Unbreakable
Reading: The Golden Compass
Fox is putting up a late night Saturday "Animation Domination" block, starting this summer. Let's hope Toonami can handle the onslaught.
It'll be called ADHD (AD standing for Animation Domination), will feature Adult Swim style off the wall animated series, and is being overseered by a former AS bigwig.
While it won't attract the more hardcore anime fans, lets hope it doesn't attract the rest of the AS fanbase that might be tuning in.
Currently Playing:
Switch - Blade Strangers
PS4 - Kingdom Hearts III, Tetris Effect (VR)
Eh, for me since I have no cable, Toonami's existence doesn't make a difference to me, but for the sake of those who watch it, I hope that it doesn't take away too many viewers.

I actually am quite optimistic about this. Competition is a good way to get more people's interest. Would the Attitude Era have happened if it wasn't for WCW's rise in relevance? Would Cartoon Network have been a big success if it wasn't for the big 90s animation boom from Disney and Nick? I don't think so.

TANK! from Cowboy Bebop
Complication from Durarara
Seishun Kyousoukyoko from Naruto
Sakamichi no Melody from Kids on the Slope.
A song that ticks away time from Clannad
Those are the few that I still listen to sometimes long after watching the anime.
and @Mewtwo, that's why I'm conflicted on watching Attack on Titan. I wonder how high the disturb-o-meter is going to get from that one D:
always thought I'd change to Gyarados after I turned 20 but hey, this is more fitting I guess. (also somebody registered under the original Magikarp name and I can't get back to it anymore orz)
Had some exrtra time, so I watched both the 2nd & 3rd parts of Mad Bull 34 tonight on YouTube!
The over the top corniness, fanservice, and gore continue. It's really silly, but you do kinda get attached to the characters (and the villains are real lowlife jack@sses in this one, so you're actually glad to see them get whatever ultra violent death they earn).

I heard somewhere that they're starting One Piece from episode 207 which is the start of the Davy back fight arc. Which I disliked the most. Don't get me wrong, there was a lot of enjoyable comedy but if you want to bring a lot of new viewers then that arc may do the opposite.
At the very least this does mean that Water 7 is very close, and one of the better arcs in my opinion but there are going to be so many characters, references to previous events and flashbacks that it will not make any sense to most of the new viewers. It's a tough decision but I would've gone with the Arlong Park arc which is still in my top 3 to this date.
-Excellent backstory of both the village (Cocoyasi Village) & Nami's past.
-Great villain
-Great fights
-My favourite One Piece scene
-What 'Nakama' truly means (to Luffy).
