Oh you should. Just cause you're getting into anime doesn't mean you can abandon all the great Western Cartoons!
Oh believe me I'm not. In fact I've started watching Dexter's Laboratory (apparently NetFlix just got a bunch of CN shows, both old and new). I loved that show as a kid, nice to relive the memories.
I probably won't be able to watch anything tonight. My brother's staying up later than usual, and although I'm sure I'll stay up later than him, I still haven't spent enough time playing Super Metroid today.

@CanisWolfred
Gotcha, I'm involved with band, mock trial, debate team, wrestling, boy scouts....
Good form! The more school clubs you join, the less regretful you'll be when you watch anime about school clubs after you graduate. Currently, I'm wishing I committed to a sports team
and about the whole nostalgia thing, I'm with you there as well. I moved from China to here when I was a young child, and I didn't learn proper English until after kids my age stopped watching cartoons. So I never grew up with most of the 90's shows which everyone seems to love, and watching them now doesn't give me much satisfaction. Except for Foster's Home for Imaginary Friends, that show was baller!
always thought I'd change to Gyarados after I turned 20 but hey, this is more fitting I guess. (also somebody registered under the original Magikarp name and I can't get back to it anymore orz)
Got stumped in Super Metroid, so I took off a little early, and had the time to watch both parts of Blood Reign: Curse of the Yoma on YouTube!
Pretty much just ninjas fighting ninjas, and demons. It was nothing revolutionary, but if you enjoy Ninja Scroll (Movie), InuYasha, or even Rurouni Kenshin, this might be up your alley.

I don't think it's a common occurance, but maybe @CanisWolfred would know more about it than I.
I'm pretty sure it's rare. In fact, I can't think of any other occurances, either, yet I'm sure there are others. I think Inuyasha set the precedent, though, and I think Bleach (which practically the new Inuyasha in my eyes) as well as Fairy Tail will be going that route.
I'd say the same to Fonist, but IIRC, you're a pretty good way through Reborn, right? You'll probably be fine, even if you just watch one episode a day.
Yeah, I've got through a lot of Reborn but there is still a lot left too. I think the last episode I saw was episode 137 and there are 203 of them. I wish there were more though as the manga finished later than the anime did so there are two arcs that were never animated. It would be great if it got a revival like the one Inuyasha had. The same goes for my 2nd favourite anime, Pandora Hearts as that only had 25 episodes even though the manga is still going. I also hope that they make a third season of The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya (my third favourite series) as the 2 seasons and the movie cover the first 4 books as there are still a lot of light novels in the series that haven't been represented in the anime and the 11th and most recent light novel won't be the last.

Ya Cartoon Network did just add a BUNCH and it is really great. They added PPG, Johnny Bravo, Courage the Cowardly Dog, Billy & Mandy, Camp Lazlo, Adventure Time, Regular Show, Dexter's Lab, Foster's Home, etc. they added many more too that I can't think of right now...)
@Magikarp
I can understand that feeling, although I actually get quite a lot of satisfaction from cartoons. Most around me both IRL and on the internet love them out of a mix of Nostalgia and the quality, but I can appreciate a show purely from quality.
Anime watching: Mobile Suit Gundam, Lupin III, & Jojo's Bizarre Adventure: Diamond is Unbreakable
Reading: The Golden Compass
And according to the same source, the Little Busters anime ends without giving Kurugaya an arc. This makes me sad, since she was easily the most interesting character in the entire lineup
that, and all the plotty-goodness is left until the second season.

Konata's Waiting for Skip Beat! Journal. Day 8.
IT'S HERE, IT'S HERE, IT'S HERE!
I was so excited to finally find that the chapter was uploaded!
I'm so stinkin' excited!
I feel like I'm gonna read Chapter 199 too fast. I need to pace myself x3.

@Crimsonfire - what episodes you on in DTB and Fairy Tail?
DTB- Episode 9 ( Watch it while i either have Cucumbers already made or popcorn, not really in a hurry to go through the episodes.)
Fairy Tail-Episode 135 (Filler Season, so unmotivated to watch it,I don't want to skip it because i want to go through the whole thing.)
That's some goofier stuff that eventually leads to the arc that confirmed it is best shonen so that makes sense in that regard. Lighthearted stuff leading to darker more awesome stuff is the best way for me to care about any story and this is arguably the most obvious example of that. Also this is closer to where the dvds are right now and most of the fanbase has seen up to Alabasta at least.
And HD!!!!! ...I'm not pretending a long running shonen anime needs HD but whatever it has a new art style of sorts.
Just watched the first part of Mad Bull 34 on YouTube!
This is bad, but it's so bad it's good. It's just so corny, and filled with so much over the top gore & fanservice, that you just can't take it seriously, and you can't look away.

I was disappointed by the episode of Reborn I watched last night. I was looking forward to an awesome fight between one of my favourite characters and one of the few characters that could unnerve him and he gets curb stomped in mere seconds.

I hate it when they do that. One Piece was the only one who could do that well.
