Well, I have to say I honestly have no sympathy for someone who skips over spoiler tags only to ruin it for themselves. I've done it before, but now whenever I see spoilers I scroll down. until the end point.

I'm posting it.

Manga Recap Time!

Major spoilers are EVERYWHERE, so don't read if you you don't want the surprises gone.

Anyways, I'm just gonna focus on the big 3 for now, as their scans just got translated.

One Piece!
Synopsis:
My clear favorite of the trio, and after since moving on from Punk Hazard, the story is now focused on the kingdom of Dressrosa, ruled by the now ex-warlord Doflamingo. (The reason for his resignation was blackmail from Law X Straw Hats alliance after capturing Ceasar, who worked with Doflamingo to make SAD, a chemical to create artificial Devil Fruits to sell to Kaido, one of the Four Emperors.) Upon landing, the Straw Hats + the new samurai Kin'emon. Having split up into groups, the split being half planned, half random. Luffy, accompanied by Franky, found out that Doflamingo is holding a gladiator tournament, with the reward being the Flame-Flame Fruit, which he has searched out upon it's regrowth after Ace's death. Luffy signs up, with Franky spectating. (All Staw Hats are in disguise.) Zolo is chasing after a "fairy" who stole his sword Shusui. Sanji, chasing after him, is met encountered by a dancer wanted by someone, and who wants Sanji to kill someone. Kin'emon is lost. Robin, Law, Usopp and Ceasar (prisoner) are the group charged with bringing Ceasar to the drop off point of Green Bit. Chopper, Nami, Brook and Kin'emon's son Momonosuke remain on the ship.
Current chapter:
The focus is still clearly on the gladiator tournament, arranged in 4 blocks of free-for-alls that only the victors move on from. The Block A is shown to be annihilated by a mystery contestant last chapter, who turns out to be Jesus Burgess from Blackbeard's crew. It shows a Vice Admiral, Capman, working behind the scenes, disposing of someone who found him suspicious. Later, Capman is utterly destroyed by Bartolomeo, a "crazy rookie" we have not yet seen. Fujitora, a blind man with incredible power Luffy had helped earlier, is revealed to be a new Admiral. The group with Law questions people on how to get to Green Bit, until suddenly they are alerted to a new presence: CP0. Kin'emon is captured by Doflamingo's men, Zolo seemingly catches up with whatever stole his sword, and Sanji fights of an assassin attempting to kill the dancer (named Violet). The group on the ship is just messing round; until an unknown voice is heard from the ship.
A lot of new developments are happening, and even after coming off the slight disappointment that Punk Hazard was, Dressrosa is has me pumped and exited, and is shaping up MAGNIFICENTLY. CP0, the new Admiral Fujitora, and the power of the mysterious Bartolomeo have me on the edge of my seat. This new arc is off to an amazing start.

Naruto.
After all that One Piece talk, I'm in no mood to speak of all the flashback-ing the synopsis would require, so let me just say with complete joy that

Sasuke is no longer forced and lame anymore!

Yay. It's looking actually pretty good, and I hope a conclusion is nearby, as the momentum is being kept up quite nicely.

Bleach...
ehhh... Quincy girl who is clearly Ichigo's mother gets hit with hollow experiment from Aizen...
More contrived flashback nonsense that will inevitably attempt to explain EVERYTHING...
But Urahara does this cool look at the end of the chapter so it''s all okay.

LIST TIME!!!

@Everyone, what anime are currently on your watch-lists? (as in what are you watching and/or plan to watch)

Well obviously I am watching Detective Conan, One Piece and Naruto (Shippuden) for all eternity. Just ordered another dvd for One Piece, though it's for that pre-Water 7 filler mostly and I remember that arc being...not that good. I literally haven't seen Water 7 in 5-6 years so that will be awesome. Also Toonami stuff. And Hunter X Hunter.

Nearly done with Shin Sekai Yori, which I still recommend highly if you like paranoia and suspense. Want to watch a Spring season anime fairly soon so I want that done soon. And Cowboy Bebop, which at episode 9 I still contend is both good and overrated.

I'm not sure exactly what I'll watch next after Bebop specifically. I have a few ideas though. I could watch Angel Beats, which I heard people love. I could get back into Higurashi, as the 2nd season is never getting dubbed so I might as well just start over subbed. Or maybe Kimi ni Todoke season 2, since it's one of the few shojo I've seen that I liked at all. Once I'm caught up with One Piece dvds, I kinda wanna get Full Metal Alchemist Brotherhood dvds since I already own the first series so I might as well. I haven't even seen Brotherhood yet. Last idea I've had is to watch Hyouka since it's apparently quite good and I should have watched it when it was still airing because I need to know why it's somehow a priority over another Haruhi season.

Currently the only thing I'm watching is Soul Eater, which is much better than I expected. However, next I plan on watching Cowboy Bebop, Yu Yu Hakusho, Casshern Sins, and I'll probably finish up Sgt. Frog. Also, my friend has been bugging me to watch Angel Beats, so I'll probably watch that too.

Just read the newest chapter of Bleach!

Pretty good chapter. I was actually expecting this "flashback" story to end after this recent conflict, but it looks like it has some more to go.

Which is okay, because the two characters being focused on, haven't had much (or any) of a spotlight until now, and it's very interesting.

How long'd you wage it'll be before Bleach ends? Also, do you think the anime will start production again to finish it?

Konata's Waiting for Skip Beat! Journal:
Day 6.
I mean, it hasn't even been a week since the chapter came out, but I'm really impatient.
I don't like that about me x3.
I almost spoiled the chapter for myself but I decided to just wait till' it comes out.
Here's another page that I've randomly saved.

The current arc is the final one, but with the exception of the Fullbring arc, all of them have been pretty lengthy, so it's hard to say (also, chapters tend to be shorter than episodes).

As for the anime series being restarted? The only time I can think of when a cancelled anime was revived after the manga's conclusion, was with InuYasha: the Final Act, which picked up where InuYasha left off.

I don't think it's a common occurance, but maybe @CanisWolfred would know more about it than I.

I would actually like Bleach to be remade from the beginning, a la FMA:B, so they could cut out the filler, and maybe even have a better animation quality.

I'm pretty sure it's rare. In fact, I can't think of any other occurances, either, yet I'm sure there are others. I think Inuyasha set the precedent, though, and I think Bleach (which practically the new Inuyasha in my eyes) as well as Fairy Tail will be going that route.

@kkslider - IIRC, I always heard Hyouka was just moe fluff. Just saying.

@Turtlelink - again, all very good shows. (well, except for Casshern, which I'd say is just "good". I'm still not a fan of its slowness)

@Crimsonfire - what episodes you on in DTB and Fairy Tail?

@rocko - Surprised you're taking on 4 shows at once. BTW, don't be too worried about your speed. It''s better to go at your own pace so you don't burn out. Also, I don't recommend taking on two long-running shows at once, not when you're just starting out, because seriously, it'll take forever to get through them, and your backlog's just gonna pile up.

I'd say the same to Fonist, but IIRC, you're a pretty good way through Reborn, right? You'll probably be fine, even if you just watch one episode a day.

You see, right now I greatly enjoy both One Piece and Bleach, and I'm not planning on watching any other long running animes such as Naruto or Dragonball Z for a while, I'm going to try and watch mostly smaller shows with Bleach and One Piece as constants as long as they hold my attention.

And that would probably be fine. Except One Piece is one of those shows. Trust me, once you get to, like episode 40 in OP, that strategy probably will fall apart. If I were you, I'd just put One Piece down, concentrate on the others, then resume it in July when you'll have more free time. (assuming Spring Break's over, of course) Just some friendly advice.

What's it with One Piece that changes it from being a serial anime that I could just watch endlessly?

I think he's suggesting that so the anime doesn't consume you with how long it is. That's pratically what happened to me with Conan (while only 2/3 of them were subbed at the time, I did watch up to the latest episode of Conan at the time (510) in only 4 months. And that includes the occasional special longer episodes too). Also compared to most shonen action anime, One Piece arcs are easier to watch as their own thing instead of just as a part of a larger story. I mean you can, it's fine.

I understand the point, but I just march at a slow pace so I doubt I'd get too caught up with it, I only watch 1-2 eps a night if that.

Though I have gotten quite enthralled with some shows before, for example when I was nearing the end of Avatar TLAB, I marathoned the last season in a weekend., when up to that point I'd taken months getting through the first two.

What I meant was that it becomes too hard to put down. Basically, by the middle of Arlong's Park, it becomes a tour de force that almost never stops getting better. I remember that once I hit Alabasta that the story became so gripping that I devoted 3 full weeks just to watching it, getting in over 100 episodes. And it only got better from there. Only reason why I stopped was that I had a bit of trouble adjusting to the subbed voice cast, since I had run out of dubbed episodes.
