Topic: Anime & Manga (NO SPOILERS PLEASE)

From what I've gathered, though, overall the anime was better than the manga, albeit without the filler...though I actually liked some of the filler arcs more than the main story.

I seriously thought this love triangle was over once they killed off what's-his-face.

BUT NOW, it re-emerged, with the killed-off-dude's-reincarnation.
I keep telling myself, I should stop reading it. But I keep going back >_<.

WHOA. The girl on the bottom's eyes are a bit too "KAWAII" for me.

It's called "Koe no Katachi" and is a short story about bullying. It was pretty sad. I teared up.

Is it just me, or is he coming off a little too strong? And forceful/possessive...

I'm pretty sure that's a common thing for shojo manga. (Or at least I've seen it a lot)
I remember seeing that in another manga I read called "Save me Lollipop"
Usually I read/watch shonen stuff so whenever I see eyes that big I'm just like "WHOA WUT."

WEEEELL.
He used to hate her, now he likes her, (Dunno how that happened.) now he doesn't know what to do with those feelings.
so he seems... Like that x3.

Edit: I don't know much... BUT I think you should ask the person out before you kiss them...
Maybe it's just me who thinks that, I'm not sure xD.

Yeah, I can't get used to shojo-sized eyes either. That's one of the reasons why watching Clannad was so difficult D:

Speaking of Clannad, I really want to watch that, but my god are opinions mixed on it.

Just finished reading the second chapter of BTOOOM!, and things are getting heated (literally).

The level of detail is insane for a manga, and the story has been really engaging so far.

I know right? It goes from "greatest freaking anime ever" (ANN) to "overrated puddle of moe" (some anime bloggers). I'd say watch it, but if you do you have to keep going until the very end. The first couple of episodes are pretty boring, and the show never really becomes brilliant until halfway until the second season. You can't skip any episodes though, because the continuity's important if you want to follow the plot. Imo it's not the greatest thing ever, but it's certainly worth watching.

Oh, and bring tissues~

The Kimi no Iru Machi manga is finally getting an anime adaption! Awesome romance manga so I can't wait.

Wait what? Opinions on Clannad mixed? I've never seen anyone whose opinions could be taken seriously (as in not random bloggers) who honestly disliked it. Even I liked it, and it's far from my usual fair.

I really enjoyed Clannad, but at certain points it started to feel like they were trying just a bit too hard to make it sad.

I know I kept saying the manga was awful, but I just had to finish it!

I started watching Clannad, but I couldn't finish it because of the animation style...
I just couldn't!

@Konata Ignore the giant eyes!! It's a lot easier to do so once the story kicks into gear!

I actually thought everything (except the giant eyes) was animated really well, but hey, that's KyoAni for you

Oh I also starting watching this anime on crunchy roll called Shugo Chara.
It didn't look interesting at first, but it's really cheesy. Which made it hilarious for me!
It has like three seasons, with like 45 episodes a season! I'm worried that I'm gonna get bored of it quickly like what happened when I started watching Inuyasha. But it's pretty good so far, so hopefully that won't happen.

Shugo Chara was good fun from the few episodes I saw, but there was way too much fanservice involving an 11 year-old girl in elementary school, and that catboy was just too damn creepy sometimes. I honestly had to quit watching it because of him.
