Okay, I was unaware they renamed it for the English release.

Since it's licensed by Funimation (who they're close with), and since it's a spin-off of the main Tenchi story, I wonder if AS will try to pick it up for Toonami. Casshern Sins should be ending soon, & this would be a great show to replace it with.

I almost forgot about Magical Girl Pretty Sammy, which is a Magical Girl parody and the best of the sub-series, IMO. It's only 3 episodes long, but still, it's great.

Ha, wow I just watched an epic 80's movie "Space Adventure Cobra". Awesome, it was.

I can't believe I haven't made the effort to watch it sooner. It OOZES the 80's to its core. It's a little trippy and corny, but very recommended!

I got to episode 5 of The Melancholy of Haruhi S.

And it's one of the best Animes I have ever seen.
I'm seriously enjoying it. Not to mention the theme song is pretty awesome too...

I also found this picture of my FAVORITE Anime Character Konata Izumi cosplaying as Haruhi, I noticed the outfit in Lucky Star but I had no idea who she was supposed to be.

I added you @konata. pls add back, i love Tsubasa chronicles, Air tv and rosior plus vampire. My favourite anime movie was the cat returns!

Finished Bakuman 13. It got better near the end. The chapter that focuses on Hiramaru was HILARIOUS! The serious comedy in this manga is gold. Pretty exciting cliff hanger for vol. 14 so I'm gonna have to read that right away.
Also...this made me happy.

Haha, awesome. I JUST finished Guilty Crown last weekend....man what a thrill ride. It almost could have ended halfway through but I'm glad it kept going, hell I even shed a TEAR at the end of episode 15, and I rarely cry at all. That's saying something. I'll probably buy it when it gets released too. Hope you enjoy it!

Also why doesn't Lunamaria have her trademark skirt? xD I'm not complaining either, but still.

Funy, I only learned about it from somebody who finished it last weekend. Did it just end or something?

As for the lack of skirt, I don't know, I noticed that too, and it was really weird to see.

Also, your impressions on Space Adventure Cobra makes me want to watch that. Been interested but just never took the plunge.

Indeed it does. Especially in the original Japanese, which is saying something since I'm usually a dub fan, but it didn't work at all in this case.

Anyway I have a kinda stupid question...
I watched Full Metal Alchemist before Brotherhood,
And Idk which I was supposed to watch first or what the difference even is.
Can someone tell me? xD

And I haven't even finish FMA yet...

Brotherhood is technically an alternative retelling of the original FMA, but since Brotherhood is an adaption of the Manga and much more accurate to its source material, you should think of it as FMA being the alternative retelling. IMO, you did the right thing by watching the original first, since as great as it is, it looks like poop compared to Brotherhood. I think it would be difficult to appreciate the original if you watched Brotherhood first.

As for the differences, they're pretty drastic. In fact, I'd go as far as to say that the original never actually followed the Manga. The first 25 or so episodes are technically retold in the first 13 episodes of Brotherhood, but there are so many major differences between those episodes that I can't even begin to explain them all. And then the last half of the original goes in an entirely different direction, with completely different events and characters, and making important a lot of smaller characters who had very little roles in Brotherhood. Brotherhood also has its own cast of characters who never appear in the original, too. (and its own events, etc.)

Easily the least likely series for me to ever enjoy...that I am enjoying.

Oh yeah, a lot of people have been enjoying that. Been meaning to watch it myself, but I dunno when I'll ever get to it.
