I'm trying to get into watching more anime...
anyone have any suggestions for me?
I love comedy Animes, but I have been having a hard Time finding one I like
Some good comedy animes I've seen are K-on. ... That's it. Gurren Lagann and FMA have funny moments, but they're not comedies.

Binbogami-ga. Oh, and Idol Project, though it's just 4 episodes long. If you like romantic comedy, Ah My Goddess is good, too. If you like energetic comedies, I suggest Urusei Yatsura and Excel Saga. If you like them with lots of fanservice, I hear Love Hina and Cat Planet Cuties are really good, though I can't tolerate that stuff at all.
Not a comedy, but Soul Eater is a laugh riot at times. Same with One Piece.

I recommend The melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya if you don't mind one that isn't mainly a comedy. It may seem like one at first and it is very funny too but it gets serious at times as well. Hetalia: Axis powers is a good comedy anime. Its a series of short 5 minute episodes with characters that are personified versions of the different countries.

Ghost Stories is pretty much the funniest thing I've ever seen, anime or otherwise. Only go for the dub though, since the original wasn't a comedy at all.

I just finished Puella Magi Madoka Magica. ... wow. That was definitely something special. My goodness this anime was fantastic. I came in not really knowing what to expect and I still came out presently surprised. Homura-chan! You beautiful soul you. ;_____;
That ending sure left me awe struck. ...I'm trying so hard to put into words how I feel about the series as a whole right now and it's kind of hard. Definitely a game changer.
Anyways, glad you liked Madoka. Maybe one of these days I'll finish it myself.
Broken Blades is coming to Crunchyroll, too, btw. Which means more mecha for me. I've heard mixed things about it, but it looks good and I like the designs. Only problem for me is the episodes are 50 minutes long. Guess I'll just have to take breaks.
Madoka is definitely going to be a series I won't forget about. The characters were the real griping part of the series. Kind of spoilery ahead so I'd avise not reading if you're not up to at least episode 9
I don't believe I've felt as much sorrow for a character as I did for Sayaka. Her whole descent was just so sad to watch. It was so well done.
I ended up admiring Homura a lot. Seeing all she had to do and for her reason was very touching. Everything she did up until then had become justified and changed my opinion on her. Ending ruining spoiler from here on
I loved how different of a direction Madoka ended up taking for a magical girl anime. In the end I guess you can argue it isn't really one, but it is. Just one that decided to throw every stereotype of the genre away and bridge a gap for the male audience. (Not that something like that hadn't been attempted before, but this got pretty darker than other series from what I'm aware.) Ending was nice. I'm just not sure what to make of it. Definitely wasn't expected. A nice bitter sweet ending with the last phrase popping up seconds before the real ending leaving such a warm feeling in my heart. Then that very last event left me sort of confused. end spoilers
Glad I decided to watch Madoka Magica. Not as absolutely amazing as some people made it out to be, it does have it's faults, but definitely a fantastic well done series.
