Final volume 8 and 9 of One Piece are in at the library so I begin reading it again
Are those the ones the library was missing? Or are those what it's up to?
Someone checked them out at the library so I had to wait for them to return it so I could check them out. Meanwhile I had up to volume 40 here at my house and couldn't read them till 8 and 9 were in
Check out SUBLIME GAMER, my YouTube Channel
God loves you
Just wondering: Does anyone happen to have some Digimon figures they don't want I can take off their hands? Specifically digivolving Raidramon? Just thought this would be the most appropriate place to ask on the site.

Digitaloggery 3DS FC: Otaku1 WiiU: 013017970991 Nintendo of Japan niconico community is full of kawaii! Must finish my backlagg or at least get close this year W...
The last episode of fairy tail I watched was 136, I got so bored of it and don't know if I can watch anymore, don't know if I should move to another anime or finish it.
I've been watching Mobile Suit Gundam Wing lately. It's positively amazing, though I found Relena annoying its good all around. There's some humor every now and again. The story is good enough to keep you interested, but that's my opinion. I recommend this anime for fans of mecha anime.

Ironically, it's actually better if you haven't seen much anime already. It does a lot of stupid things that become more apparent the more you watch. I still like Wing, but a lot of that could be nostalgia - it was one of the first anime I ever saw, after all. I know tons of people who hate it, and I honestly can't say they're wrong about it, either. While I do urge you to continue with Wing, I also hope you go on to watch the rest of the Gundam metaseries, since it's generally agreed that that nearly all of them are better than Wing, and really, if you liked Wing, you'll probably enjoy the rest of the metaseries, at least considering the reasons for enjoying Wing that you've given us.

The manga isn't even done yet so you're no going to finish it any year soon.
^ya I know it will last for a long while yet but I don't know if I want to finish all the eps right now and watch new ones weekly.Think I might search for another (not the anime named another ).
If you're at the end of an arc, I highly suggest stopping and waiting until they finish the next arc if they haven't already. It's much harder to keep up with a show weekly in the middle of a major arc, IMO. The wait can be unbearable...
For those of you who avoid older anime, is it for any reason besides the art style? I'm just curious, since it seems too prevelant to me for that to be the only reason.
@Mickeymac Some people might avoid it for long "still scenes" which are used to cut production costs. (I'm looking at you Neon Genesis Evangelion.)
If you're talking about low production quality, well, that apples to shows that come out today. It all depends on the budget they had at the time. Mobile Suit Gundam had problems in its production, for instance, but that had major budget cuts as it went along. Zeta Gundam, which came out just a few years later, had a much better budget after the success of the movie versions of MSG, which also led to better animation - I don't recall there being nearly as much reused animation, errors, and slide shows in Zeta Gundam. Gundam SEED, which came out in 2003, had all of those problems, and arguably worse than what was in the original Mobile Suit Gundam. To use your example, Evangelion did in fact run low on budget towards the end. That is the main reason why it had such a crappy ending. Heck, IIRC, most of Gainax's productions ran out of budget. Meanwhile, I speant at least an hour marveling over how well animated Armored Trooper VOTOMs (1982) is, and Macross: Do You Remember Love? (1984) is still one of the most lavishly animated films I've seen. This really is one of those cases where it helps to do a little research, or at least see what people say about them, before making ones judgment.
For a more modern example of poor quality animation, there's Senki Zesshi Symphogear, which apparently spent all of its budget on the character designs and nothing else, considering how badly animated it can be.
You still could be right about that being their reasoning. It's just that their reasoning would be based on a false assumption.

I honestly don't mainly because I have enough new anime to watch. I mean I still haven't seen most of the AS beloved anime, or Gurren Lagann, or Madoka, or half of the Ghibli films, or quite a few sequel series to anime I liked (like Higurashi and FMA: Brotherhood) or anything from this year.
The only anime I've ever seen that's pre-Dragonball that isn't because of "so bad it's good" are the first 2 Lupin the 3rd series and the very first episode (subbed) of Astro Boy. Both of which are really good. That Astro Boy kinda fits so perfectly with the anime I like btw. Serious drama, immediately followed by cartoon sillyness. Lupin the 3rd in general is probably the best anime series I've seen that's not a comedy and doesn't have a real continuing plot or anything beyond the premise. It's also basically the only anime that fits that description that interests me.

That's an understandable reason. I mean, I still think it's better to have the option open (though obviously for you the option isn't entirely out of the question), but I suppose if it makes things easier for you, it's not a bad thing in this case.
