The current arc of Detective Conan has seriously been going on in the anime since the middle of 2008. And it seems like there might finally be a light at the end of the tunnel. I honestly wasn't annoyed with the length of the arc (the previous arcs were all 2-3 years) until they forgot about it for a year and a half, pratically Naruto style. The plot is sometimes very frustrating in the series, because despite often being the best part of the series (and that says a lot considering the consistent high quality of the cases), it takes forever and makes up <10% of the series. And even that's probably generous. But on the other hand, there's no way the series would remain at the same quality if it was a plot focused series so you have no choice but to wait. But they are animating chapter 800 soon, and every 100th chapter in particular has always been in the middle of something awesome and important. The recent cases have all focused on plot related stuff so maybe Aoyama's learned his lesson, I dunno. Not that it matters, since fans already know what's going and have for years, and it's samey compared to the previous 2 arcs. And yet somehow I still love this arc. Huh.
My advice is that everyone should give this series a chance, but never, and I mean NEVER catch up with the latest episode.
I started watching One Piece subbed. The transition from Dubbed to subbed was so easy, I can't help but wonder what I was afraid of in the first place. I should watch a few episodes dubbed now so I can see if the transition back is just as easy...
On Imagine-Nation tonight, they coverd the anime film "Blood C the Last Dark".
The film is a conclusion to the anime series "Blood C" (which is itself the sequel to "Blood +", a series which aired on Adult Swim a few years ago).
This episode (of Imagine-Nation) was a repeat, but I didn't mention here before, so I figured I'd bring it up now.
Also, speaking of the "Blood" series, how do you guys feel about it? If I'm not mistaken, the film that started it all (Blood the Last Vampire) is held in high regards.

So I haven't watched anything Ina long time and my friend keeps recommending me They are My Noble Masters. He says it's funny and entertaining. Does anyone else recommend it?

I never even heard of it, or more likely I confused it with " He is My Master", which I greatly disliked.
I'm a pretty big fan of full metal alchemist, one piece and naruto. I haven't read much of one piece and naruto but I buy them whenever I get the chance.

Apparently they're different animes. I never heard of it before either. From what he's told me and what I looked up it's a comedy that parodies other animes at times and is based on an adult visual novel series...
^If it makes any difference to you, Nihon Reviews makes it sound pretty good. They're the best Anime reviewers I've seen...which isn't saying much...and it isn't much, really, but it's better than nothing.
Okay, so I just found out that Tomino, the creator of Gundam, is working on a brand new project, called G-Reko. While Tomino has been getting on in his years, hasn't don't done much for the past decade, and as far as I know has never been as involved as he at least wants to be for this project, this could be pretty big for modern Mecha - a genre that I honestly feel has lost its touch lately. The genre went from a serious style grounded in hard science, to near-Super Robot levels of rediculousness, with increasingly outlandish plots and overly flashy battles that often push ones suspension of disbelief further than necessary.
Not to say this show will go past all of that, but Tomino has gone out of his way to criticize the makers of Modern mecha, so he knows what the problems are, and he could be heavily involved with this one, so his influence will be prevelant. One can only hope he'll live up to his big talk.
Bleach - Who do they think they are, DBZ? Seriously though, the fight between Ichigo & Uqiorra (misspelled, I know) is freaking awesome! Although at this point it's more of a one sided beat down.
Samurai 7 - Some neat action scenes tonight. Last week I said it reminded me of Outlaw Star, but now that I think about it, it feels more like an anime Samurai Jack.
Casshern Sins - Pretty good tonight. Some insight into the past of the girl & the old man. Also some sweet action scenes with Dio. Although I've grown to like Casshern, for some reason it's still the slowest part of the night for me.
Eureka 7 - Another good episode. I simply like this show's style, and the characters.
FMA:B is on now, see ya later.
