Also, for some completley unknown reason, I found a copy of Ghost In The Shell in the attic. Is it as good as everybody says it is?

it's still as close as you are gonna get to children's manga.
anyway, I'm halfway through episode 1 of high school of the dead, and it's a little intense for my tastes. also, TOO MUCH FANSERVICE.
^ far from it. I don't think Dragon Ball was actually ever meant for such a young age group. There's a whole genre of children's manga. It's just that we don't know about them, and chances are most of them suck.
Clannad is definitely a slow starter, and you won't enjoy the first season very much if you don't like KyoAni's sense of humour. And without spoiling anything most of the second season is absolutely brilliant, although you won't enjoy it very much if you didn't watch the first season. Out of curiosity, what was the other series?
always thought I'd change to Gyarados after I turned 20 but hey, this is more fitting I guess. (also somebody registered under the original Magikarp name and I can't get back to it anymore orz)
Does anyone know of any anime films that can be found in their entirety on YouTube? (preferably not mirrored, as that seems to irritate me for some reason).
I would look for series, but it tends to be hard to find one intact on YouTube.

I'm pretty sure there are also a dozen or so different versions of The Disappearance of Haruhi floating around.
As for full series, Funi should have that department covered, since they have a bunch of quality titles all uploaded in both dub and sub (although I can't remember if they're region locked)

Hmm, well I guess I recommend Gurren Lagann. Which- in my opinion is the most bada** anime ever. You'll like it if you're a fan of gundam 00. It can be over the top but I think the characters are really likable. Also It's separated into two time arcs. I really can't can't think of anything else to say - it's just that awesome.

This does not compute...I seriously don't know where to start - they seriously have very little in common besides the fact that each one has Giant Robots in them, that are piloted by people. I can also confirm that everybody loves Gurren Lagann, where as Gundam 00 has a very divided fanbase...and a lot of people on both sides tend to like Gurren Lagann.

I actually watched GL back when SyFy showed it a few years ago. I guess I could watch it again, but I'll probably watch some films first.
Thanks for the recommendations everyone!
