Maybe they were going for some sort of ironic juxtaposition, but that felt like a really odd choice in opening music for an arc like Impel Down.

And We Are is still my favorite, although We Go! is working its way into my heart.

And the ending has the only major flaw I saw in the series, which is we're never given any indication that Nia will disintegrate at the end. It just kinda happens. That's the biggest thing the movies fix, besides being even more badass

SPOILER Well since Nia was a creation by the Anti spiral and only existed to gather data for them I understand why she disappears at the end. Kind of how in some RPG boss fights the boss has minions, but you just have to defeat him and when you do they dissapear and the fight's over. It came as a surprise, but I accepted it. Movie you say? Ohhh, gotta watch

@Mickeymac
I don't particularly like One Day, but Brand New World I agree is great.

One Day's a bit different from the rest, more somber I guess, not as fun, so I can understand that. It really fits the events of that part of the series very well, though, IMO.

One Day's not my favorite, but it at least makes sense for the part of the series it's played during (the part of the series I'm actually on, fyi). Kaze wo Sagashite for Impel Down just feels inexplicable to me.

Finished watching Kaichou wa Maid-sama and that was a really good anime
Now I've started watching Ano Hi Mita Hana No Namae O Bokutachi Wa Mada Shiranai. It's already really sad, but seems like it will be good. Kind of like Angel Beats!

AhoHana won a crap load of rewards as I recall. It's definitely on my to watch list.

Currently reading vol. 8 of Bakuman. I'm on chapter 67 right now. (Haven't finished the vol. yet.) Just like to say this is the first time I've literally laughed out loud so many times while reading one manga. I haven't even finished it yet. The tension going on through out the first chapters was brilliantly balanced out with humor. The main thing that kept me laughing were the facial expressions. They were pure gold.

Oh boy. At episode 5 out of 11 and I've probably cried more throughout those 5 episodes than my whole life It is really sad, but good.

Is Psyren any good? The cover for vol. 1 really grabbed my attention. Mainly the female lead character. Anyways, done with vol. 8 of Bakuman. Love this series.

And now that I've finished Gurren Laggan ( and have given my mind time to comprehend just how incredibly awesome it was) I'm thinking of starting Sgt. Frog, restarting Zero No Sukaima, or finally watching Shakuagn No Shana's final season. Any suggestions which I should go with first? Regardless the choice I'm going to finish Medabots first, since I was on episode 30. Feel like reliving one of my favorite shows ever when I was little, lol.

CanisWolfred

I haven't heard of Psyren. And that worries me a bit. Anyways, go with Sgt. Frog. It's hilarious (so long as you watch it dubbed). Then go with Shakugan, I hear it's actually a decent ending to the series, finally. Tsukaima starts out decent but only gets worse as it goes on, so I don't recommend it.

Won't check out Psyren then.

Somethings I've been meaning to post about TTGL but keep forgetting to:
I was very pleasantly surprised that Yoko turned out to be a useful and important character. From pictures I've seen I thought she was going to be an annoyingly useless character just there for fan service. Like Orihime or something. Yoko does have her fan servicesy moments, but she's not useless. That was nice.
That old guy with the blueish hair looks just like Hank's dad from King of the Hill. I swear he was based off him or something, lol.
There's a guy that looks exactly like old man Fu from Brotherhood.
Looking forward to watching the movie sometime.

Just so you know, I heard that from reviewers rather than friends or random people. Take that for what you will.

I never bothered reading reviews for anime series. Always thought that was a bit weird. Either way I'm a big fan of Shana so as long as the ending ties up the loose points introduced in ll and that other thing the fans have been eagerly waiting to happen happens I'll enjoy it.

You're thinking of Cotton Hill, and now I may just have to watch Gurren Laggan again, just to see whom you're talking about

I do love me some KotH too though, so I could just watch the real deal.

I don't know if you guys can help me with is problem I have. I tend to watch a lot of action anime so I like to watch a comedy/girl anime in between, something not so violent or serious to help balance out all the action, drama, violence and blood. So anyone have any suggestions on what to watch. I like something along the lines of School Rumble, Ouran Highschool Host Club, Karin, I like it when the anime focuses more on comedy than romance I don't like them SUPER girly either (like fruits basket). Anyways anyone have any suggestions?

I read some Psyren in SJ monthly...
It was pretty good.

...Then again, I don't read enough manga to decide what's generic or not.
