Hope they premier InuYasha: the Final Act, considering the original's history on AS (besides for special occaisions, like movies, I don't think they've ever taken it off the air until now).

I don't dislike the Boondocks by any means, but it technically isn't an anime (same thing with "the Last Airbender").

Holy crud, I love Gurren Lagann! That was so awesome! Mechas, hot chick, comedic gay dude (Hi Wallace! ;D), action, comedy, cute little animal thing, and manliness this show has everything! I just saw the first 4 episodes. Really entertaining. I love Kamina, he's hilarious. This turned out way different than I expected too. I wasn't expecting something this unique for what ever reason.

While the story and voicework are done in America all the animation for the boondocks and the. Airbender series is done in Asia so it is anime Imo. Unless we are quantify it as being by an Asian creator. Plus wnime is technically a translation of anime and manga comicbook so Imo everything from any country falls under that bracket but I do see the need to use the terms to differ when comparing the American vs European vs Asian styles of comic.

I Kean there is no special term for European Comics and Animation so what makes Anime and Manga so different.

My friend let me borrow volumes 5 & 6 of Bakuman. It's been awhile since I've read it, so I'm really happy to continue the series.

Wasn't sure about that one.

Just by looking at them, I can tell that Avatar and The boondocks are American rather than Japanese. To me, there are clear differences between their styles and the way most anime looks.

Yeah. There is a big style difference. One of things I hate about anime and manga is that while there are differences and some artist have distinct styles it seems there are a lot in the medium that uses the same style of drawing. Not sure of that's a bad or good thing.

that's usually a problem in most forms of entertainment. Now excuse me while I play a weird 3rd person japanese title, a Nintendo sequel, a game with lots of shooting on my 360 while I watch superhero or comedy movie trailers while listening to club dance music on the radio.

It is. Ut it seems that a lot of shonen and Shojo oriented manga seem to have this same very generic style. May just be the genres.

Though I really haven't read anything in quite a while compared to currently so it may be selective memory but I really don't real huge differences like I see between different American artist.
