My only real reason for watching the show to begin with was that it was revealed that this season would me a "Reunion" season where all of the main cast of the previous seasons would be present at some time during the season, and so far on that count I haven't been disappointed.
OMG OMG OMG OMG OMG!! I freaked when I saw that pick, and then you say the whole season is like that!? Wtf??..? OMGGGGG!! Now I have a reason to finish Xeos Wars! How many episodes are there? I was on somewhere in the 30's.
Just a heads up, no; the entire season is not just showing a bunch of previous season cameos. There have been a total of 22 episodes, with only two of those episodes actually containing past season leads, and one of those episodes was basically just a tease stating that the characters were going to eventually show up somewhere down the line. I was referring to my lack of disappointment because they really haven't shown enough to make me say "This is awesome!" or "They ruined the characters!" yet.
As for the total number of episodes for the first season of Xros Wars, I believe there's a total of 50-to-55-ish episodes.

Jeez...Dat Mervaman. I forgot about her. She seriously raises my worries of this show ever getting a dub. I would have at least expected an announcement by now if it was coming to America. And where do you watch the episodes, V8_Ninja?

If you really want an American dub, I would be more concerned about the fact that Digimon got crushed by Pokemon in the East (and everywhere else) rather than a sexually explicit character. Simple animation edits can fix that later problem; not a whole lot can be done about the first one though.
As for where I watch my episodes, I stream them through Crunchyroll.

We appear to finally be getting a plot in Digimon: Xros Wars Young Hunters. I'm extremely happy, as the series won't just be win-after-win-after-win anymore and we might actually get some real conflict between characters and such instead of "Don't take my prey!".

@nickcarney: Brotherhood fully adapts the manga all the way to the end, whereas the original series goes off on its own tangent not even halfway through (obviously because it had to). In other words, do yourself a favor and watch Brotherhood...
"Don't make enemies, they'll stab your heart; don't make friends, they'll stab your back. Including me, including you, all men are trash. Don't love; don't be loved. Have nothing to do with other; live in isolation."
If you mean the world of Amestris and our normal world where alchemy doesn't exist, then no. There's Amestris and there's the other side of the Gate. As I said, the original series went off on its own tangent due to the manga not being close to ending, really only following the storyline about a quarter of the way through. In Brotherhood, there's quite a few characters that don't exist in the original series, and three of the Homonculi are different and fit their moniker better (Pride, Wrath and Sloth). If you enjoyed the original series, you'll definitely enjoy Brotherhood. Hell, you'll probably enjoy it more, like I did...

I hear that often but it's hard to believe. The original is the best anime series I've seen so far, it's hard to see how anything could top that yet. It's unfortunate not all of the episodes for Brotherhood are on Netflix yet. Looks like I may have to buy them when I eventually watch the second series. Just one more question about Brotherhood; is the process to make the philosopher's stone the same as in the original?
Interesting. Well I'm going to take a break before watching Brotherhood, I only just finished the original and am going to let it digest a bit before heading back for seconds. Any suggestions on what I should watch in the meantime?
Because it's one of the best slice of life animes, period, and it's got a great blend of comedy and character development. I absolutely love Lucky Star. I finished it a long time ago and still re-watch it.

I'm sorry, no. I reject that idea. I refuse to believe that any form of a four-panel gag manga has character development.

@nickcarney : I think the sole caveat, and it's a minor one, that I would give someone that has seen and loved the first Fullmetal Alchemist anime is that most of the first ~13 episodes of Brotherhood cover much of the same territory that the first ~30 episodes of the 2003 anime did, so it may not feel quite as "fresh" and maybe even a tad rushed by comparison initially. Which is not to say those episodes are anywhere close to bad (very, very far from it), but it's obviously harder to squeeze the same amount character development into 13 episodes than it is with 30.
After that is when the two story-lines fully go their separate ways, and when Brotherhood truly soars to the heights it stays at throughout the rest of its run. Topping the original series was an incredibly tall task, but my goodness, they did it.
