I don't know about you guys, but I love card games, so the possibility of a decent new card game being stored on my DSi is great. Don't really know anything about the game yet, but it's worth watching for card-enthusiasts like me
http://www.gameobserver.com/news/inside/all-platforms/-elemen... lbxgames, an innovative developer from Berlin, announces today Elemental Masters -- a large fantasy card game for Nintendo DSiWare. Elemental Masters is one of the first DSiWare titles from Germany. The game will be available in December 2009 for approximately 500 Nintendo Points.
The fantasy card game has been developed for strategy- and role-playing- gamers. With more than 70 creatures, 15 maps and 6 different spells, Elemental Masters offers over 10 hours of gameplay, which is pretty much for a DSiWare-Game. “Most DSiWare-Games offer just a few minutes of gameplay. With Elemental Masters we have a different approach. We want to deliver a high-class DSiWare experience with several hours of intense gameplay,” says Fabian Thiele, CEO of lbxgames. “We are thrilled about the possibilities of the NDSiWare platform, because the digital distribution is a big chance for independent developers like us,” Thiele adds.
In Elemental Masters the Nintendo DSiWare gamers start a journey full of magic and adventure. They even beat the hardest enemy with the strategic use of creature-cards, secret spells and the rules of dark magic. On a map consisting of three by three fields saturated with elemental-powers, hard fights over the future of the fantasy-world Elendior break out. Only the player with the best tactics and battle skills can reach the rank of an Elemental Master.
Elemental Masters is supported by Medienboard Berlin-Brandenburg.
Actually, it sounds like Dragon Quest Wars, which has a Wi-Fi mode.
And I don't know any DSiWare game that offers "just a few minutes of gameplay". If this point is wrong, the other statements in this promo text might be wrong as well.

Thanks, but: Not interested!
The Electroplanktons or clocks or calculators that populate the 200 point part of the service last but a few minutes.
I agree with Electroplankton - - but the minutes (or seconds) you use your Mario calculator or alarm clock might be very important... lol
On the other hand, all Art Style games, Wakugumi & Reflect Missile and several others offer hours of gameplay. Obvioulsy the person that wrote that promo text han't played a lot of DSiWare...

To his or her credit, he said "most," so they aren't that off Maybe they meant "minutes at a time," as in they're just pick-up-and-play games that you only feel compelled to play for a few minutes -- in which case I could understand. Or maybe they just haven't played many DSiWare games
