We got a tentative date for Intellivision Lives! for the Nintendo DS system, as sources now say that the release date is set for October 19, 2010 in the North America region.
The Nintendo DS version will include over 60 different games including, Astrosmash, B-17 Bomber, Shark! Shark!, Motocross, Space Cadet and Thin Ice. The game will also feature games not released at the time of its original launch as well as Head-to-Head local wireless game play. The Nintendo DS's touch screen emulates the Intellivision's 12-button keypad: each game features a custom touch-screen layout mimicking that of the button overlay supplied with the original Intellivision cartridge. The DS version of Intellivision Lives! will be published by Virtual Play Games.
I'm disappointed the Imagic and Activision games aren't in there (they were in a 2nd collection of Intellivision games for the PC), but I'll be getting this nonetheless. No clue about a European release eh?
