It's true that the Virtual Console is laughably overpriced, but there are some games that I'd still pay that much for just to play it again on a handheld console.
Why does NintendoLife allow old threads to remain open to be posted in then lock them when we do, even if its on topic? Why not implement an auto-lock feature for when a thread has gone a certain amount of time without anyone posting in it? Should be pretty easy to do.
Threads can be revived if it's for a good reason, and if the topic is relevant (example, it's a game specific thread). Sometimes other users tend to derail them with pictures and stuff, that's when the need to lock them appears.
In this case though, you simply revived a thread to say "then buy a WiiU". You decided to continue a months-old argument that had already ended and had been resolved since then, this only causes confusion.
It's not locked because it's still relatively young.
I do not. In fact, I think even NES games are overkill! After all, the Cafe fits console releases while the 3DS fits handheld releases. (I am more willing to have handheld games through the Cafe, though; we already have the Super GameBoy and the GameBoy Player.)
Of course I want SNES games on the 3DS VC. I don't care if the games are priced high. Just having SNES games available would be awesome. I have all of the Zelda games that are on VC and the 3DS, including the Minish Cap. I also think that Nintendo should release the GBA VC games to everyone, instead of limiting those games to ambassadors. Then, Nintendo can release more GBA games on the VC. Now, going back to the SNES VC games, I need A Link to the Past on my 3DS. Super Mario World would be nice too, and my ultimate wish besides A Link to the Past is to have Earthbound and Illusion of Gaia on the 3DS. Now that would be freaking amazing.
Why do people complain that the Game Pad is too small to play Wii U VC games then say that they want SNES games on the 3DS?
Crazy thought, but maybe they're two large groups of people?
I think the Game Pad is fine for VC games, but I'd much rather play them on my 3DS, so I'd love SNES games on the 3DS.
I totally agree that the more games the merrier across both consoles but unfortunately that is not the case. Even if there was the choice between downloading SNES games on Wii U, or 3DS, I'd still choose the Wii U. If Game Boy games came to Wii U, I would prefer to play them on Wii U than 3DS.
Edgey, Gumshoe, Godot, Sissel, Larry, then Mia, Franziska, Maggie, Kay and Lynne.
I'm throwing my money at the screen but nothing happens!
