Nintendo wants you to buy Wii U to play GBA games, if the Wii U totally flops and they give up on it we'll have gba games in 3ds, if the Wii U is succesful enough that it doesn't need GBA exclusivity we'll get GBA games in 3DS, unfortunately those two things are unlikely, what will happen is the Wii U will keep on hanguing there in life support for the rest of the generation and nintendo would keep GBA (and SNES) games as Wii U exclusives in the hope that helps sells a bit
that makes no sense whats so ever, no one buys a wii u for gba games they buy it for smash bros (which is why it hasnt sold well yet), they are just releasing the snes games for wii u now because they have barely any games and they want the early adapters to have some fun with there new console, simaler to the ambassador program, which i would not expect to see on the wii u as they are doing simaler things with the 30 cent games.
speaking of the ambassadors program, why would they have gba games on that with no plans on making them available to everyone else as well?
plus there are only so many nes games, and most of the heavy hitters are already out, japan is already getting genesis games, to believe that gba and snes games will never be available on the 3ds is ridiculous, nintendo just wants people to give there old games a chance, which no one would if they had the newer versions abvailable

It's just a little strange that those are the only games she wants from this. That's all.
Defiantly, I would love The fire emblem games, Metroid Fusion and Zero Mission, Emerald (or all the Hoenn games) The most. SNES should also be put on. I know if Super Metroid came onto VC people would buy it like crazy. Technical Issues aside, i get that they have hesitated due to the ambassador thing but GBA had hundreds of titles! take away the ten (admittedly good) Ambassador games and they are left with several dozen games many would love.
Two month old thread... By the way, no, nobody wants GBA games anymore. They're history, too old, less graphics, terrible sounds, aged engines. I understand why everybody wants SNES and N64 games to come, but GBA games are never coming to the 3DS. That's my prediction. GBA games are too advanced to be on the 3DS. It's going to be difficult to make GBA games on the Virtual Console, as they're too difficult to rerelease and won't get many sales anyway better of their technology. The Wii U is better suited for GBA games because I'm sure that even if they'll get terrible sales, then at least they're not as difficult to rerelease as the 3DS because of the Wii U's advanced technology. I mean, think about. There will be three Metroid games that would be almost exactly the same. The NES Metroid, the GBA NES Classic Metroid, and Metroid Zero Mission.
There's my point right there, and after being on this website as a very active member for nearly two months, I think that it's safe to say that nobody is really in the mood to play GBA games.
