Oh god. I just watched footage of dragon warrior on GbC, and I want it badly!
It is brilliant - but I'd recommend skipping it for the second one(s).
The sequels (Cobi/Tara) are my favourite games of all time - and improve immensely over the first one.
I would like too see:
Super mario world snes or gbc
Mario tennis
Mario golf gbc please!!
SMW was never released for the GBC. I assume you mean the GBA Super Mario Advance 2: Super Mario World. With the entire GBA VC thing up in the air, we'd sooner get the SNES release. I do agree with Mario Tennis though. Loved that game. The GBA release was so much better, but again who knows when GBA VC games will come.

I know some of these are very unlikely to happen but one can only hope and for all those saying that Pokemon won't be released due to multiplayer, who's to say they won't add multiplayer support in the future?
Well, I just recently downloaded SML and Gargoyle's Quest. I doubted Gargoyle's Quest would actually go on sale, and now I'm just waiting to see when SML2 and TLoZ: LA DX goes on sale. I also purchased VVVVVV while it was on sale for $5 +tax. I have $17.40 left in my account, do you guys think that will be enough to get SML3 as well?

(serious answer: probably enough left even if you paid regular price for the other two games, though I haven't checked the prices. LADX is $6 I think. GB games are what, $4-5 each usually (I know those are priced differently and Nintendo charges more for the marquee games).)
@KingMike, I finally just purchased my 3DS a little over a week ago, and the Gameboy VC was definitely a high selling point for myself. You probably wouldn't believe the level of nostalgia I receive from these old Gameboy games. I mean, we're talking about my childhood here. So far, I only have 5 Gameboy VC games, but that will definitely change in the future. I've loaded my eShop account with about $50-$55, so far. With Sakura Samurai, VVVVVV and 99 Seconds being my only non-VC titles I've downloaded. Now that you've put it into perspective, I think I probably could just purchase those Gameboy games outright. I'd rather save a few dollars, if it's possible. I have plenty of games to play until TLoZ: LA DX and SML2 are offered at a discounted price. By the way, I believe Gameboy VC titles are either $2.99 or $3.99 each + tax. I believe GBC VC titles have been $4.99 or $5.99, up until this point. I'm hoping TLoZ: LA DX will be no more than $3.99 + tax when it finally goes on sale.

DP was the first game to use online play, not gen I silly
But still, admit it, you would eventually get bored quickly after you beat the elite four with nothing to do. That's where multiplayer comes in, that's where THE REASON WHY Pokemon sold well in the first place came from. Without multiplayer, pokemon could never be completed 100%. The spinoffs like the TCG game (The only one I demand) could come out as they can be completed without said multiplayer.
....Now If only those idiots on facebook would stop asking until they know the facts. We should be wishing for the spinoffs, if anything

Agree with TheDreamingHawk with Mother 1+2, and maybe, just maybe, Nintendo will buy the fan translation of Mother 3 and put that on as well. Freaking love Mother 3, one of the few games that warrants using emulators.
Also, put Pokemon Red, Crystal and Emerald on there and update them so we can trade on Wifi and locally.

Mother 1 + 2 DID change some stuff from the original, editing the original mother and adding stuff to the second one, so that's more likely than the wii. Though I'm not sure on Mother 3 as I don't like it so I don't know the legal stuff about it.
I do think that RBY will come out, seeing how local multiplayer is now possible for VC titles. But no GSC please due to that stupid clock and the superior remakes for DS.

Mother 1 mostly added a few features from the canceled NES version (proving wrong a few people who believed the ROM was an elaborate hoax to scam a few fans out of a couple hundred bucks) as well as keeping a few enemies censored.
(though $200 is almost nothing compared to the amount game fans have paid to keep other, crappy, canceled games from rotting in collectors' closets)
Since, "Super Mario Bros.," is already available on the eShop, do you think we'll ever receive, "Super Mario Bros. 2," or "Super Mario Bros.: The Lost Levels"?
