As for NES titles, the only one I truly want is Punch-Out!!. I'll be fine with just about anything else, as long as it's not ridiculously hard, boring or lacks content.

GBA needs harvest moon, the minish cap, and there was this one game I played on my uncle's GBA a LOOOOOOONG time ago....I forgot it's name.....i think it was rocky and ______...? IDK. I don't even remember if I enjoyed the game or not. I just remember playing it and being so happy and carefree

EDIT: it was pocky, and rocky, with becky...or something like that. (≧∇≦)

As cool as it is to play NES games on the go like this, i just....feel, well....Does it really seem necessary? I mean i want these Nes titles in '3D' . Releasing the Nes originals kind of takes the magic out of the Wii's NES Virtual console if you know what i mean, as cool as it is of course.

And I want Yoshi's Island on the Wii's VC damint, not on a hand held.

Besides, I've practically played through all of the NES classics anyways, i wouldn't bother playing through the original NES versions again UNLESS they were in '3D' BUt free's free I guess. And as for the GBA games.....Well, my guess is that you either have to deal with a stretched blurry default image or a scaled down native res version which is tinier than the GBA screen. Either way it will suck.

I'll most likely be better off buying these actual GBA games off eBay and playing them on my DS Lite. At this point, I'm really only interested in GB/GB Color VC titles and '3D' NES/SNES titles.

Presumably when they mean you'll be able to update them to the updated versions (which will be going on sale later) they mean 3D Classics .

Sweet announcement though

Did you guys notice they mentioned updated versions being released later for the NES games? At first I assumed they meant they were using us as guinea pigs before the games are 100% ready for release, but you don't suppose there's any chance those updates might be 3D Classics instead of VC titles do you? The reason I ask is I think SMB, Zelda, and Yoshi's Island were originally showcased as 3D Classics, so it seems strange for them to release VC versions unless they've decided doing 3D is too hard and they've decided against making those games as 3D Classics ever, but it also seems like if the games are simply VC titles they shouldn't require updates.

I'm guessing most of the remaining games will be 3rd party games.

Dudes, I think they can only put first party Nintendo games for Ambassadors, so no Mega Man games, no Pac-Man, no Final Fantasy, no Gradius, no Sonic Advance, no Metal Gear, nor any first or second party games. Sorry, guys. With that in mind...

Top 5 other NES games: Super Mario Bros. 3 (obvioiusly), Kirby's Adventure (huh?), Metroid (can't have too much Metroid), Baloon Fight (huh?) and Donkey Kong (herp derp!).

Top 5 other GBA games: Mario & Luigi: Superstar Saga (best RPG evah!), Metroid Zero Mission (can't have too much Metroid), Pokemon Ruby Red/Sapphire Blue (or any Pokemon game, especially Emerald), Super Mario Advance (Super Mario Bros. 2, to make up for the NES list not having it) and Super Mario World: Super Mario Advance 2.

They have to be putting more GBA games on the e shop besides the ones for this special deal right?
One game I want more than anything is an Import of Mother 3.
I gave up on Earthbound due to all these supposed Licensing issues.
Mother 3's only problem is that it wasn't released in America.
I don't think there's any problems with the music is there?

Ok, please. You're suggesting they put up certain games and then throwing "(huh?)" after them as if you don't understand the reasoning. As has been reported, Balloon Fight is already confirmed, so I'm extra confused as to what it is you're getting at. And as for your offensive "(herp derp!)," feel free to correct me if I'm wrong, as my internet speak is not quite up to date, but as I'm aware, that's typically a phrase used to mean, "you're a moron" but in the context of your post, that's makes even less sense. Please. Sense and maturity. Let's be utilizing it.

all that website says is the same thing we know. they restate the games and then say the other five titles after that, so nothing new, sorry to say. all the japanese below is merely explaining how the games extra features will work and something about how to save the gba games because the restore points dont work on them. i couldn't read all of it but most was easy

What about the stuff below the listed titles? That seems important and new. ... Or else the bad translations make it seem new

In english ... apparently:
"During game play, "Communication Itsuno間Ni" or "miss communication" does not occur."

Kinda sounds like it won't connect to internet ... I don't remember any NES games that could so was it really necessary to specify? Or could this mean something else?.

Well so far the GBA selection is pretty good but the NES selection is pretty lame. So far it's mostly mediocre "black box" titles. Hopefully some better games will be announced.
