That's some might positive thinking there. I really doubt Nintendo is reasonable enough to put in cross-purchasing, but I guess we will see.
I wonder if Konami would have the heart to port Metal Gear: Ghost Babel on the Virtual Console......granted, I've never played Metal Gear but that one might be worth getting myself into.
Also.....those Dragon Quest games on VC? What about StarTropics?

Well I hope they might do this as well. Maybe the NX as both the home console and handheld theory might play out with cross purchasing as a new eShop mechanic?

That's Square Enix in a nutshell. Won't bring Dragon Quest games to the west because Dragon Quest games aren't popular in the west because Square Enix won't bring Dragon Quest games to the west. They then moan that the west doesn't appreciate Dragon Quest games and thus won't bring them here.

Well that's not necessarily true. They sell all the dragon quest games in the west on Android. I just think Square is shying away from the Eshop and Nintendo for some reason

I think they will put some near the end of the year just to get a little money and early in 2016.I think they are waiting to see how mother 1 dose on the Wii u before 3DS release.

Would be neat if in the direct they would show some past hits that would be coming to VC, would be nice to get a fighter or something that the VC lacks on the 3DS, throw some GBA games at us and I would bite....or even SNES.
But the 3ds VC is already dead, since February there are no new games. Only Sega classics (they do what Nintendon´t) and PKMN gen 1 is announced. I hope this pokemon games use the cloud to save pokemon and transfer them to X, Y, but I don´t think so.

It won't. It would just be too much trouble to make an app that can do that. Its not even worth trading an original b&w GB Pokémon to the modern games.

I would also like to mention that the Pokemon's data would have to be revamped to work in X and Y. For one thing, Special was only one stat in the first gen
Also, we have access to all of the original 150 pokemon. Transferring from the original would be pointless
Okay, so there's going to be Pokemon Bank support for RBY. Thankfully I was wrong this time, but it remains to be seen how exactly it will work with outdated moves, lack of gender and abilities from the original games.
