My reaction would be "what took you so long" if there's a source.

Was Mariobro4. No, I'm not taking off my backpack...it's important.

Will we finally be able to play A link to the past on the go? Only time will tell.

Eh...he pretty much dodged the question on that one. Here's the question and answer from the article.

Nintendo's had great success with bringing over classic games from its home consoles to the 3DS. Without giving your hand away on specific titles, is there anything you can say Nintendo's plans are for bringing more of these classics over? Does fan demand play a part in Nintendo's decision-making process at all?

Nintendo fans are very vocal, and like any company, we pay attention to what people are saying. But I think it's helpful to repeat what we've said before. The only way to truly surprise someone is to deliver something unexpected. That's really written into our corporate DNA.

So moving forward, I guess it's safe to say people can look forward to a combination of things they've always wanted…and things they never even thought of wanting.

Formally called brewsky before becoming the lovable, adorable Yoshi.
Now playing:
Final Fantasy XIV (PC) | The Legend of Zelda: Link's Awakening (Switch) | Celeste (Switch)

TLDR: "Yes more games are coming. They'll be the usual games no one cares about with a few people actually want sprinkled in."

Not even any mention of what console the games will be from.

....But whatever. I'm always more forgiving about these kind of non-answers and vagueness when E3 is around the corner. Big news like "OMG SNES GAMES ON 3DS VIRTUAL CONSOLE" are lrobably best saved for E3.

If you add me, I need to at least know you or I won't add you back.

Yeah it is going to be SNES or GBA games coming soon but I think GBA is more of a possibility due to higher push of the fans and ambassador games but also I think they will do something like they did on smash like the old 3DS models can not post screenshots or something like that also SNES can come to 3DS VC due to they sometimes put it on and take it off in about a hour.
But we could be getting and most likely Turbo Grafx 16 and Neo Geo Pocket or Neo Geo or Genesis(they released NES 3D classics before virtual console games).

I wouldn't mind a retail compilation of Nintendo's six 3D Classics (Excitebike, Xevious, Urban Champion, Twinbee, Kirby's Adventure, and Kid Icarus) they'd also finally get Miiverse communities.

There's nothing in that article that suggests Virtual Console, by classics they could easily be referring to the many 3D remasters that have happened like Ocarina of Time, Majora's Mask and DKC Returns. What I interpret from this is more 3D remasters are on the way, possibly Twilight Princess.

Not sure if he's talking about remasters or 3D classics or if he honestly had anything specific in mind. I really wish we'd get another round of 3D classics, with the ones that actually deserve the 3D treatment. It's a joke that Sega is doing a better job at distributing 3D classics than Nintendo, especially when Nintendo showcased so many amazing games at E3 2010 that I was really looking forward to playing in 3D.

That entire interview was non-answers from Reggie. The only real news from that interview is that new games for the 3DS will be announced at E3.

I love when thread titles are 100% wrong.
He doesn't say that at all anywhere in that interview.

Congratulations! You've earned a Zoidberging!

She-Ra is awesome. If you believe otherwise, you are clearly wrong.

Yeah it was SNES and NES games as 3D classics for the 3DS and still where are the SNES ones that is what is going to happen this year or they have been put on the side of the road. Maybe we get Super Mario World or Super Mario-All Stars(SNES)for Mario's 30th year. And put The NES ones on Virtual console already

I'll translate it:

"People think they want popular old games for the 3DS Virtual Console like Pokemon, but in actual fact, they want these really obscure titles that no one wanted even at their original release. Trust us, even though our fans are very vocal, we know what they really want. Unfortunately the fans chose not to respond to the waves of terrible NES games we were providing, so instead of giving them what they claimed to want in good GB/GBC/GBA games, we decided to cut off the whole system. Trust us, they don't know they want this, but they do."

Or just buy a GBA with ALTTP, you even get a 2nd game with it.

But the second game is completely unplayable unless you have friends with consoles and the game.
