I downloaded Gunman Clive to keep me occupied during a flight and it was fantastic value (especially when you're surrounded by easyJet sandwiches and bottled water combos at £8 a pop). I'm pretty picky concerning games in general but the trailer for Gunman Clive was self-deprecatingly funny and I felt like the makers had earned their 2 quid just for that. The 'blox games feel like great value. Art of Balance kept me going for a good while. It comes to a point where even if I'm paying a premium, I'm prepared to do it to support worthy people.
In a wider context, I think I do this with Nintendo in general. £179.99 for an XL is pretty steep but I feel like I'm getting a crafted, quality product and it's the same with the games. For decent games that are worth playing, they're getting the pricing right, though anything on the eShop that's an app could have it's price halved, including the Pokedex. Calculators and clocks aren't worth £1.79.
Nothing on the Eshop is overpriced. If it's $8, it's usually a long game or a well made one. And pokedex 3D pro isn't even something you can complain about, as it's the SAME price as the paper book, if not cheaper. Plus it's 10 dollars less than the iOS

I don't care if Mutant Mudds costs more on the 3DS, I wanted it to play on the go and NOT with crappy touch screen controls on my phone. Just because you don't see those factors as worth a bit more cash doesn't mean everyone doesn't.

I don't find them to be too out of touch. The only gripe I have is Angry Birds (which is totally OT). I got a 3D puzzles game for $5.99 which includes loads of puzzles. The 3D version of pict o crat was only $3.99. Admittedly I don't know much about Pokemon as I don't play it, but I have to agree that for something named rollodex, that has to be overpriced at $14.99. Bit Trip is $14.99 in the eshop and $19.99 at the retailer. I think everything is pretty fairly priced in the big picture though.
Pretty girls game too!

Some of the Retail Titles are rediculously priced. Pilot Wings 39.99 in the eshop and 17.99 at most online outlets. Zenonia 7.99-Eshop and .99 cents in the apple and android markets. I think gamers should boycott the market because of examples like this. I am not against the Eshop Ive spent quite a bit in it. But they offer no discount sales and old software is left there to die at weird prices when it cheaper in the other markets.
Still playing 3DS but will have Switch soon for multiplayer with friends. I miss you guys! Adam, Joni, Gavin and the rest of the Blue Rogues from the Phantasy Star Zero Days.

Another solution: buy the cheaper versions. Problem solved!

Yes, 6 weeks of sales 7 months ago, then Nintendo went back to sleeping up their own derrieres.
In America, Japan had Denpa men 2, pokedex 3D Pro, Harmo Knight, and Kirby's adventure go on sale

And that's why NOJ and NOE are freaking awesome compared to NOA, also the whole 500 points thing for the Wii they did way back when.
NOA is a bunch of cheapskates who don't realize what causes more sales. Discounts would be nice, nobody with logic is asking for them to charge half the price of a physical copy for the same game.

Btw, their prices are normally higher. IRONY!

A. Dude, please stop making sarcastic rebuttals to my (emphasis on pretty much mine alone) posts, especially when half of your responses are either "wut?" or some terrible justificiation.
B. Higher prices doesn't mean you shouldn't have discounts. If that's the case, then all those big name worldwide chains must be doing it wrong.
C. As in NOA sucks when it comes to incentives. We didn't get free points for internet linking (something lacking with Wiis overall) like the other regions did. We haven't gotten a single sale since August.
North America has a bigger population than, say, the UK, Australia, or Japan, so every sale kinda counts over in those countries whereas here they're guaranteed to get enough sales without incentives in NA.
^On the eShop? Last I checked, Nintendo's online services don't exactly do the best anywhere, considering how loads of developers failed to reach 6000 sales on WiiWare, the DSi Shop was dismissed as shovelware only (and screw those ignorant people. Now I'll never get my X-Scape sequel), and very few games seem to have lots of ratings on the eShop.
This is a signature.
Link goes here now.
Screw you.
