But some aren't appropriate prices. Mutant Mudds is $9 on 3DS, $5 on PC and $1 on iOS. $8 is a big difference for buttons, and the PC only offers improvements.
VVVVVV is $5 on Steam and contains a level editor and downloadable levels. It's $8 on the eShop without a level editor or the possibility of downloading levels.
Some games are better, offering what are full retail titles in some regions for cheap prices (Order Up and Outdoors Unleashed are the first 2 I can think of) or offering full packages at downloadable prices (EscapeVektor would've cost $20 on WiiWare).

Screw you.
A $15 Pokedex does sound "Farfetch'd" after all, Bulbapedia/Serebii offers a great amount of that content for free.
And there are eShop Retail games that are too expensive. Pilotwings Resort and Pokemon Rumble Blast being great examples.
Other than that I would say the titles are accurately priced.

That's because of the markets they are in. It's difficult to sell games on iOS that are high priced due to the high number of cheap games (unless you're Angry Birds). As for PC, it's not quite as severe, but still the same situation.

That doesn't really give a reason to charge more for it. At all.
If a game on the PS3 is $60 and $10 on Steam (and analog movement doesn't matter) then I'd buy the Steam version, who with a capable PC wouldn't? Those situations you described are redundant, because if I wanted any form of the game, I could pirate it on those 2 platforms.

First of all, he released it on eShop last year and iOS recently. Second, what does pirating have to do with anything?

They're not overpriced. People are just whiny about actually paying appropriate prices for things.
In a free market there are no such things as appropriate prices or perceived value. People are the ones who dictate the value of things. For example, if you're selling your game for X dollars and next to no one buys it because people felt it wasn't worth the money, you obviously didn't appropriately price it.

The iOS version is underpriced. Why do people immediately assume that the lowest price is the fair one? It's not fair when it's unsustainably cheap. The only real problem with iOS for gaming is that is has spearheaded a flight to the bottom where people now thing that a game that runs for hours should cost $0.99
It's not a good thing. I am glad that Nintendo is trying to insist that games have value.

That's actually the best reason there is. And I don't recall a newly released game on Xbox 360 being $10 on Steam. Maybe $40 but even then, that's rare.

Maybe those people want to spend those few extra dollars on that version so they can play Mutant Mudds and all their Nintendo favorites in one convenient place. Then there's the 3D function and portability.

I could've sworn we had a topic like this a few months back. As for the topic, I don't think the games are overpriced. I may be poor, but when I spend money on eShop games, it's money well spent. Unless its Dillons Rolling Western. Or Bird Mania 3D. If I hadn't bought that game, I could've bought Gunman Clive. Oh well.

Couldn't agree more.
