@CanisWolfred Well, 3 out of the 4 Ace Attorney games have been localized so I hope the original devs can still be recruited. I know that, in the case of Gyakuten Kenji 2, the devs had disbanded, however being that DGS is a series, the devs can certainly work out a localization in between releases...unless they have already began work on DGS 2.

At least one of your questions has been answered. Seriously, talk about "speaking of the devil". Jeez...

@CanisWolfred Thank you for that article. At least we know the development team won't be disbanding any time soon. I think patience on my part is key simply b/c speculation and rationalizing gets nothing done. Fan translation or official release in the West, either is good. Official localization would be preferable. A similar series, Danganronpa, has a 3rd installment announced so I'm waiting to see how long a localization announcement takes for it. I'm looking towards this series now to satisfy courtroom game cravings until I get to play DGS, which will likely be in a couple years or more, officially or translated release.

Bingo. Same goes for me, too - The Great Ace Attorney has been on my wishlist since it was first announced. Between being a prequel (I'm very behind of PW) and being set during the early 1920s both in Japan and London, with Sherlock freakin' Holmes as the detective...I highly doubt my excitement for it will die down any time soon. Granted, there's a difference between being "excited" and "anxious". The latter is what usually comes with impatience, and is a lot worse for one's health.
